A believable near-fall off an elbow drop? EY is one hell of a worker.

I smell the scent of interference in the air. Come on don't do it.

Good. Aries shouldn't win the belt with no build like this (nor should anyone else in this situation, really).

Called it you did, sir. EY wins...

..clean...

...in a PPV with no BS outside of the KO's match?...

(not counting that EC3 match since that was predictable as all hell)

You're right, Aries needs to be built up to it, but... I mean... Booo. Just boo.

Haha, I know how it is. I wanted Aries to win deep inside, just like when Henry fought Ryback at WM (but I got what I wanted there!). I'm sure Aries will get this belt later. This was a very fun PPV, especially when compared to Impact.

Wonder if they planned the "Lashley spears himself out of the cage!!!!" spot.

I wasn't too high on this PPV, but it certainly beat the hell out of everything else we've seen from TNA most of this year. X-Division delivered the MOTN for sure.

I think they did plan it but it just looked so real, just looked like Lashley was such a beast that he broke the door lol. PPV, by comparison (with IW), was pretty good as you said. And I'll say that I probably never watched a match from any Von Erich but damn it, I marked out when Kevin beat someone up just because of the crowd reaction haha.

Wait, how was it like Henry vs Ryback? Like when you were at odds with yourself over "correct booking" vs "dammit I like this guy and I want him to win!" Moments like that are strange.

Exactly like that. On one side it was just obvious that Henry, the veteran, should put a guy like Ryback over given that the big guy had already jobbed so much on PPV, but damn it, deep inside my heart I wanted Mark Henry to win because he's the freaking man. And he did, and I marked out. This was the same, A Double winning with no build and killing off the EY story without MVP and his crew having nothing to do with it would be stupid, random booking, but damn it, I can't say I wouldn't mark to see it.

Holy crap that must have been really satisfying for you then! Can just imagine you sitting back with a bag of Cheetos saying to yourself "yep... here comes Ryback to hit ShellShocked and put us all out of our misery... mmmhmm... here we OHHHH! HENRY! 1-2-WOOOOOO!"

Perfect random finish, lol. And I'm not convinced that changing the title would have affected the storyline much, since they don't like Aries either... Do you think EY will keep the belt until BFG? :robbie:
