TNA Reveals Brooke Hogan's Start Date
In a press release issued by ImpactWrestling.com promoting the signing of Brooke Hogan, Dixie Carter had the following to say about Brooke, and noted that she'll make her company debut on the live May 31st edition of Impact:

"I have really gotten to know Brooke by working with her on her music career this past year and a half. When we did talk wrestling, I not only loved her passion and knowledge of it, but the fresh, creative ideas she would come up with.

She is very savvy. I asked if she would consider teaming up with me in this capacity while she also worked on her music, and I was thrilled when she said ‘yes.’ A big personality runs in her genes, obviously, and I know she is going to take an already exciting division of Impact Wrestling to another level."

Dixie Carter will go down in wrestling history as the absolute DUMBEST person that ever ran a major wrestling promotion..

If she really had a passion for it, how come she has only just chosen to become a part of a wrestling company?

As for this "fresh, creative ideas", she seems to think everything TNA comes up with is exactly that, yet it bombs.

Dummmmmb da-dumb dumb!

TNA's new slogan should really be: We suck, we don't know it, but tell us anyways, we'll just ignore you and dish out the same shit every time. It makes us some kind of money right?

Honestly, what the fuck is wrong with Dixie?!

God why did TNA do this, TNA was starting to get good, and I have a feeling they are going to have Brooke be apart of damn near every segment they have, because Dixie will think it is good for the company.

I think all Twitter users on here need to spam the shit out of her twitter. Tell her she's not doing a good job. She'll have to take notice eventually. Right?

I'm starting to think Ultimate Warrior was right about Hogan not being able to teach and raise his kids properly. I mean look at it, he had to pull strings to get her that music career that shot down the toilet. And now he has to pull his weight to get her in TNA. It's clear she can't stand on her own two feet.

So first Bischoff hires his son and gets him a massive push and now Brooke Hogan has been signed, nice display of nepotism there. I am actually surprised that she wasn't brought in years ago because it isn't like she has a job outside of wrestling. I am disappointed with the suggested role that she will be playing because TNA have too many authority figures and they don't need more. I can't see this going to well but who knows maybe she will turn out like Vickie.

When does Nick get a contract?

I have to agree, and why someone like her would get ANY sort of authority is beyond me. Just what the hell does she even know about wrestling outside of her daddy being a hall of famer?

I have no idea. It is insulting to the women that work in the industry that she has been chosen for this role, why not use Tara or Jacqueline or some other experienced female wrestler. Or better yet bring back Scott D'Amore, he did a fantastic job with the Knockouts when he worked for TNA and he could revive that division again. I like how they say that Brooke has grown up in the business and how that somehow makes her perfect for the job, yeah she grew up in it but clearly wasn't passionate about it since she went and did many other things before only deciding to do wrestling when everything else failed.

All I'm going to say is her job is going to be like hell. She is going to get A LOT of cold shoulders. And it's because of what you said about her getting a position that more EXPERIENCED women should have received.

The other women there will NOT take it well that this newcomer is going to be their boss when they themselves have paid their dues and Brooke Hogan only has a family name going for her.

Tara getting older every day should be the one to take the reigns of the division if she wants and book it. She's earned something like that unlike Brooke. I'm sure Brooke's role will be only on air so at least she shouldn't be making any decisions because I'm sure she wouldn't know where to start.

Brooke doesn't even deserve "on air" time.

She deserves to start at the bottom like everyone else did. At tops, she should be considered an intern.
