PWInsider confirms that Bully Ray has signed a new contract with TNA. He re-signed 3-4 days ago and word is that it's for two years. Ray will continue to wrestle for TNA and work as a backstage agent.

This is the first time in years that Ray and Devon won't be working together in a promotion. They will continue to work together at their Team 3D Academy in Florida. There was talk at Thursday's Impact that TNA "didn't do right by Devon" because he got himself into better shape and did everything asked, including working with younger talents like Garett Bischoff. Some people in TNA were shocked that the company did not re-sign Devon because he was one of the most well liked.

So glad Bully's staying, I'm loving his work so much, and just didn't see him doing anything near the quality of it if him and Devon went back to WWE. I just want him to get one world title reign and I'll be happy at this point, didn't want to see him leave without getting it.

Good move for both. Ray has been one of the suprise packenges of wrestling in the last year or so in this new heel role. This is his last shot at a solo headlining run then he can retire in WWE.

I can sort of understand why he's decided to stay in TNA after all this given his current singles push, but I would have honestly preferred to have seen him back in the WWE. Like I already said elsewhere, I just can't see him ever getting the title no matter how long he sticks around because to me I just don't see him as THE guy but instead the foil to THE guy. Saying that though, he may very well have tried to negotiate for a championship reign during contract talks given how late in the day it seemed to be signed.

I do like Bully Ray but I have not found him or TNA in general entertaining to watch. The whole point of being heel is to get heat but whilst doing so to be mildly entertaining - Bully hasn't been at all. His feud with that 'Lawyer' did not make sense at all and I guess that he just isn't suited to being a singles competitor. Him and Devon for the past 16 years had always been in the same company and a tag team and I guess this tells you something when it comes to them both being singles competitors - their just not entertaining.

Wait, so you like him...but don't find him entertaining? Oh and Bully gets the most heat of any heel in wrestling not named Vickie Guerrero.

He made the right decision in the end. He is in the middle of the best singles run of his career and it would have been a massive risk to drop that and take a chance at what WWE were offering. It would also have been pretty bad to turn his back on TNA after the push that they had given him. I hope that for his sake he does end up winning the TNA title, even if he only holds it for a week.

Well it looks like Devon gets an agent role for WWE and Bubba gets one in TNA.

Not like they can't be besties now that they are in different places.

Plus they still have the Team 3D wrestling school where they will work together. It is going to be different though with them working for different companies for the first time in a long time.
