Its like a meme on Twitter now to talk about how stacked the 2009 WWE roster was bc people were constantly making posts about it every few weeks like they were the only ones that remembered even though we all remember
Oh I definitely think the roster was good.

I’d argue WWE has never not had a stacked roster since they bought WCW. Although, I’d argue 2013 is probably their best ever.

I will say as it’s been a minute since I’ve seen any of it, from a product standpoint, 2008 was probably a little worse. It was in that transition period from Ruthless to PG.

It’s always funny when they start like here’s a fact you don’t know and didn’t remember and it’s like yeah, I do.

I bet most of those are about SmackDown. SmackDown was at least a bit more passable than Raw was.

It’s just easier to let people remember the good, the bad and the ugly of TNA Impact Wrestling. As one whole branding without being fragmented by history. We’ll just have to forget about GFW.
Scott's been good about that, with respect to things like the Reverse Battle Royal

Yeah, I love Scott so much. I still plan on watching slam from last year because he even brought in my queen of the mountain match.

I feel the problem is that even though the roster was stacked, unless you were named John Cena or Triple H you weren't showing anything off

Indeed, WWE always generally typically has a pretty decent roster like even today even but you gotta also have a product that utilizes them in a way that’s interesting.

I will say, though the ruthless aggression era might have the record for the most talent with the potential that they did absolutely nothing with. I think you could make a video of like 100 people that came and went in those eight years they accomplished absolutely little to nothing

Well they've pretty consistently had what you can consider an embarrassment of riches so it's partially understandable. In some cases at least.
