was gonna say the same thing, i like the old logo better tbh. for some reason, I was thinking the entire logo was red originally.
Red and tan, but you might be thinking of the 2010 version that removed the X and extra lines. It was all red then.

While I would probably say I would pick 2004 if I had to pick them out of a pole, I still think the 2024 is going to be great and it could be worse. It could be this flat version of the 2010 logo. This is awful.

This for me was the worst TNA logo, and not just because it reminds me of the dark times

Yeah that's heinous

This is more or less when I dipped. I didn’t love the 2011 and 2012 impact wrestling rebrand, but I still charged along but once this thing arrived, I was like OK TNA is dead.

I do think bringing back the six sides at that time was the smartest thing they could’ve did because fans were not happy that they took it away in the first place. The vast majority of the fans at the time wanted six sides and still probably due to this day, but it was too late then and it be too late now especially after they brought it back and got rid of it again.

But that’s definitely why they put it on the logo because they wanted people to know just by seeing the logo that the six sides are back because otherwise the lapsed fan wasn’t gonna know.

I will say the anthem version where they have the giant hexagon, and then the impact is in the middle was probably actually the worst logo they ever did. I’ll actually take this logo over the first anthem one.

Skews me the second one. The first one with the owl is slightly better than the second one.

Honestly this has got me thinking how we're essentially entering the seventh true "era" of TNA.

The Asylum Era 2002-2004: The beginning, great matches and silly booking, Jarretts/Russo/Mantell booking, nice to remember but not great to watch mostly

The Golden Era 2005-2009: The one everyone thinks of with "classic TNA", Kurt Angle and Christian Cage, Cornette/Mantell/Russo, hits its heights in terms of product

The Hogan Era 2009-2013: Commercial height of the company but fan and critical response takes a massive downturn, old guys, Bischoff/Russo/yes-men, then Prichard, then Big John, stars leaving

The Dark Ages 2014-2016: Channel hopping, financial issues out the wazoo, everyone expects that they'll die

The Rebuild Era 2017-2020: Anthem buys the company, full rebrand to Impact, the GFW thing, Scotty D and Don, better creative than the past two eras but no one really noticed

The "Post-Omega" Era 2020-2023: Omega mentions TNA on AEW and people start to take notice, Scotty D and various other bookers, TNA/NJPW relationship revived, rising feeling of optimism

The Re:TNA Era 2024-???: Nobody knows for sure but I'm feeling good

I really agree with your description of this one. I think it’s a pretty slept on time.

I mean once you get past the triple re-branding in the early part of 2017 but especially once Scott and Don get there I think they have one of the best rosters they had in many years and some of the best product they’ve ever had. When I was getting back into it a couple years ago I went back and re-watched a lot of that 2018-2019 stuff and there’s some gems in there.
