It should be treated as a sport. Non-wrestling fans still do not give the guys as much respect as they should.

^^^Same goes for most stuff when peeps aren't into it tho'; be it sports, styles of music, other entertainment or whatever.


What pisses me off is that I'm currently being asked repeatedly "I bet you're watching Gladiators aren't you" (since they've just resurrected that peice of shit TV show over here)..... When I say no, peeps seems suprised and reply "Huh, but you LIKE wrestling...?" as if all that defines it is muscly men in spandex.

That's what I was trying to quote on my first post in this thread, I remember seeing that sig that's been stolen so many times from God knows where.

I hate the Gladiators, "fake", gymnastics and "gay" references to wrestling too. It shows how much wrestling has gone to crap by the public media. It might be "fake", but isn't everything that's popular on TV?
