TNA Match of the Week

In another attempt to spark some discussion on the TNA forum, I've decided to bring back the Match of the week. Votes will be available until Thursday morning of the next Impact. But this time, the winners of the week will go into the ballet for Match of the Month. IF we can keep this going up until the end of the year, the winner of the Match of the Month, will go into the ballet for Match of the Year. So I'm hoping we can keep this thing going.

We'll start off with the May 3rd Impact. The matches on that card were....

Ink Inc vs Douglas Williams and Brian Kendrick

The Beautiful People vs Tara, Sarita, and Taylor Wilde

Beer Money Inc. vs Team 3D vs The MCMG. No contest VOTES: 2

Abyss vs AJ Styles in a Monsters Ball match. VOTES: 3

Desmond Wolfe vs RVD for the World Heavyweight title VOTES: 4


None of the matches were really stand out matches, but I'm going with RVD vs Wolfe.

OMFG I remember doing Match of the Week when I was TNA Mod. Good job bringing this back!

I still haven't seen all the matches but I am going with Abyss vs. AJ, I still haven't seen the entire match though, but I know it was way better than anything else. The NHL playoffs sort of have priority over all wrestling except Raw at this point.

^^^Fucking lol. For real? I don't think any of the matches deserve a 'MotW' this week. They were all really weak. I'd probably go for the triple threat-tag match including the "run in" from "The Band".

AJ Styles vs Abyss gets my vote.

Nothing to spectacular about this weeks Impact. I should watch the web match and see who they had in the match.

Good concept how it keeps going, but it might just be better to do match of the months instead of weeks because we get weak entrants.

Nice concept. Honestly this week TNA didn't have anything all that great, but AJ/Abyss gets my vote. It atleast kept me entertained.

I figured I'd do Match of the Week because by the end of the month, not many people will remember the matches during the beginning of the month. It's more to keep interest up.

Desmond Wolfe vs RVD for the Heavyweight title picks up the win this week with 4 votes. Abyss vs AJ Styles comes in 2nd with 3 votes. And Beer Money Inc. vs Team 3D vs The MCMG comes in 3rd with 2 votes.

Desmond Wolfe vs RVD goes into the ballet for Match of the Month.
