Pretty bad if JJ wasn't at the PPV, this was a big event and surely you have the guy that started the company and still owns a portion of it at the event. If his not being there was for a storyline then that is a bit too over the top, no need to go to that length to sell a storyline.

Personally I despised the whole Sting announcement at Slammiversary, it just reeked terribly. Rather than celebrating Jeff Jarrett the founder of TNA on a night where they were supposed to be celebrating TNA's 10 year history and what not, they imo decided to go with Sting for no other reason than to kiss his ass ready in preperation for the annual contract talks that won't be too far away.
