At the time, I wasn’t sure about the Eric Young thing, but in hindsight, it was a great move. You know they only did it because of Daniel Bryan, but at the same time that’s smart strategy try to capture a similar feeling of letting the lovable goofball finally get the title.

To me, EY will be one of the most underrated of his era. He flourished in every role, whether it was lovable loser, zany goofball, cerebral technician, plucky underdog, evil mastermind, you name it. His comedy chops are in the same tier as Truth and Santino, while he is also excellent in the ring and can deliver in whatever match type or set-up you need. Just an extremely useful all-around talent.

Eric was someone that I didn’t appreciate enough in his prime, but somebody in hindsight is one of my favorites and I feel like you’re saying more people will come around to this.

Yeah, I’ll be honest. I do prefer a heel Eric young because he could seriously go and he could work a crowd.

He really is, he did his work and I don't think he was very appreciated at certain points. But he got mega over with the don't fire Eric and Super Eric(which I hated but can't deny it)

I wish it had lasted a little longer never understood why it ended during the Monday night move

I honestly think Hogan and Bischoff didn't like it but that's just me not trying to point fingers. Because if I remember correctly they broke up during that red cage match

It wasn't during the red cage match but Homicide went a bit loopy during that match, yes. The real breakup was when Rob Terry won what was then the Global Title in front of a hometown crowd and turned face. Williams and Magnus just went their separate ways, EY had a brief face turn when he palled up with Kevin Nash but that didn't last and he was back heel. And then he was a dumbass babyface again. This was within 6 months of 2010

Oof I forgot all about that, I'll admit the free pay per views where fun from a match quality but at times the stories needed a little more direction. I think they really missed out on EY

Between Homicide and Samoa Joe, who do you think TNA ruined more?
Honestly Joe, I'm biased to Homicide being Puerto Rican like me and a former ROH Champion who Daniel Bryan put over big in his book and when they had a match. But Joe had potential to be their biggest homegrown star. And they always seemed to never strike when the iron is hot with Joe

This is an unpopular opinion but I hated brain damage EY. Thought it was really annoying

That is not unpopular at all, it sucked then and it sucks now. They spent so much time generally mocking WWE's new "no chair shots to the head" including a comedy character getting a concussion. Then someone important to the booking (Anderson) gets a concussion and suddenly they care now and Matt Morgan's a top babyface for caring. Never mind that earlier this year he kicked Hernandez's head into the ring post, that was then
