TNA Bound for Glory 2012 Discussion Thread

"Bound For Glory,” presented by Direct Auto Insurance, will be held live at the Grand Canyon University Arena starting at 5pm local time with doors opening at 3:30pm MST. Continuing the celebration of ten years of Total Nonstop Action, this will be the biggest weekend of the year for the superstars of IMPACT WRESTLING. The weekend will feature expanded activities in the Phoenix area, including a special “Bound For Glory Fan InterAction” and the inaugural annual TNA Hall of Fame induction. As announced at “Slammiversary” in June, the first-ever inductee is “The Icon” Sting.

Spike TV will present a new one-hour special, “Countdown to Bound For Glory,” on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at 7:00pm ET/4:00pm PT that will provide an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at TNA’s biggest and most star-studded event of the year.

Nah, this was fine, it was grading the Prediction Thread that got me choked up, having to see that card over and over and replaying it in my head

This certainly isn't the route I thought they would take. Bully/Aries and Joe/Aries would have been better in my mind but we did get both of those matches on PPV throughout the Summer. I am glad that Storm/Roode should have some sort of brawl at the event... AND it should main event but I doubt it will be.

The match won't be bad, but there were better options. I fully expect Roode and Storm to have a grudge match and Sting and Hogan to find some partners to face Aces & eights

Gotta think Bully Ray is a part of this now that he's out of the title picture and he is always out to the ring when the A&8 stuff goes down, just hope it's not part of a face turn cause he's too good as a heel

Not the direction I expected them to go for this big PPV. Disappointing that they gave Jeff Hardy another chance after how he screwed them last year. Should have given the chance to someone that actually deserved it.

Definitely see Storm/Roode on here plus Aces and Eights in a big multi man match.

This will just be another ordinary TNA PPV although they promote as there equivalent to WWE's WrestleMania in reality it's rubbish. Although I may seem like I'm hating on TNA for a company that is trying to challenge WWE with their shows nothing is bigger or better and Bound for Glory generally passes without much notice unlike WWE's WrestleMania. I don't quite know why Jeff Hardy has been handed another opportunity after embarassing the company last year. What I am hoping for is a no holds barred type of match between James Storm and Bobby Roode.

I'm interested to see how the Arizona crowd is. Last year the Philadelphia crowd was pretty awesome. I'll never forget the triple threat match between Crimson, Joe, Morgan. Joe super heel (biggest crowd pop), Morgan mid level face (few cheers), Crimson monster face (lot of boos). Ah I miss that crowd.

I never expected to see Aries vs. Hardy. Shouldn't be a bad match but the story just doesn't seem right. Since both men are going in faces, looks like one of them will turn heel and most likely join the Aces and Eights. I would have rather seen Aries vs. Styles but oh well.

Thats taking it too far about Hardy. It would take Roode, Aries, Bully Ray, and Joe leaving TNA for making me not want to watch. I love Daniels but he's not a must watch guy.

I am stoked to see Aries vs Hardy seems like a good watch.

Storm vs Roode is the match I'm dying to see that, and be the end of the feud.

Wonder what will come down to Aces and Eights in the end of it all.
