iMPACT! Preview

Last week, on a special Friday Night iMPACT!, we witnessed the first ever Brand Extension. iMPACT! drafted Jeff Jarrett, Kurt Angle, Sting, Team Pacman, and Jay Lethal, to X-Plosion's Christian Coalition, Samoa Joe, Judas Mesias, and Junior Fatu. This week on iMPACT!, as we're just one week away from the TNA PPV spectacular, Bound For Glory, Jim Cornette has decided to address everyone on the iMPACT! Roster of a special message. Might in concern The Champ? Or will there be a news update on Bound For Glory? Find out this Thursday at 8PM on SpikeTV.

Also last week, Kurt Angle and The Christian Coalition managed to defeat Abyss, Sting, Junior Fatu, and Samoa Joe. In the match, Kurt Angle was able to make Sting tap out in the center of the ring with a little help from his wife, Karen. However, this week on iMPACT!, a special "Pick Your Poison" set of matches have been announced. Kurt Angle and Sting may pick one person on the iMPACT! Roster to face their opponent this Sunday at Bound For Glory. Who will Sting be facing? Who will Angle be facing? Questions will be answered this Thursday on iMPACT!.

TNA iMPACT!

impact-1.jpg

* Before the televised program begins, Jeremy Borash is seen backstage. *

Jeremy Borash: Hello everyone, we welcome you to iMPACT! this week, and last week, on a special edition Friday Night iMPACT!, we witnessed the first ever TNA Brand Extension. In the draft, many of TNA's top guys left iMPACT!, for X-Plosion. However, iMPACT! got some great superstars as well. Right now I'm trying to get Jim Cornette's words on the roster he drafted. Hopefully he'll come out...

Jeremy Borash knocks on the door. Matt Morgan opens. Inside, are Kurt Angle, alongside his wife Karen.

Matt Morgan: What the hell do you want?
Jeremy Borash: I was just wondering if I could get Mr. Cornette's words on the iMPACT! roster.
Jim Cornette: Matt, let him in. OK, Jeremy, can't you see that I'm kinda busy right now? What is it?
Jeremy Borash: Mr. Cornette, I was just wondering if I could get your thoughts on the iMPACT! Roster you drafted.
Jim Cornette: You wanna know how I feel about iMPACT!? I'm infuriated! We have creeps like Black Reign here, then we have guys like Kurt Angle there, it's a mess! So you know what I'm gonna do here tonight?
Jeremy Borash: Umm...no sir Mr. Cornette.
Jim Cornette: Tonight, I'm going to get the whole iMPACT! locker room out in the iMPACT! Zone, and I will be shake everyone's hand and do some "picking favorites." So please, leave my office so I can deal with The Champion, OK?
Jeremy Borash: Yes sir Mr. Cornette.

Jeremy Borash closes the door.

Jeremy Borash: Wow, that was interesting. iMPACT! is next!

* The iMPACT! opening theme hits. After it ends, we are viewing many parts throughout the iMPACT! Asylum. *

Mike Tenay: Here we are on iMPACT!, at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, at the iMPACT! Zone. I'm Mike Tenay, and this is my partner Don West. And last week, on a special Friday Night edition of iMPACT!, TNA hosted the first ever TNA Brand Extension. For more info on the results, check out tnawrestling.com.
Don West: Also last week, it was announced that the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, The X-Division Championship, The Women's Championship, and The TNA World Tag Team Championship, will be defended on both brands. Once a superstar loses the title, they become an exclusive wrestler to the brand they were originally drafted to.
Mike Tenay: And don't forget about the main event last week. We actually saw Kurt Angle make The #1 Contender tap out! And speaking of main events! Tonight, on one side of the ring - "The Icon" Sting!
Don West: And on the other side of the ring will be anyone of Angle's choosing. But don't forget, Sting may choose Angle's opponent as well.

Jim Cornette's music plays, as he heads to the ring.

Mike Tenay: Oh, wait! I think that's Jim Cornette's music. Apparently he has a message for us all...
Don West: Yeah, it sure is! Here he comes!
Mike Tenay: Look at the way Jimmy Cornette is walking! I think he means business here tonight.

Cornette grabs a microphone from the ringside girl, SoCal Val.

Jim Cornette: After last week's special edition of TNA iMPACT!, on the Brand Extension, I feel that it is only right to give the roster I drafted a warm welcoming to iMPACT!. So without further adieu, let's get everyone out here. Come on, don't be shy.

Finally, the locker room comes through the tunnel. The heels come out on one end, and he faces come out through another.

Jim Cornette: Thank you, thank you. When I call your name, come up to my podium. First up, we have "Black Machismo," The Current Reigning TNA X-Division Champion, Jay Lethal. Jay, come on up.

After looking at a few of his friends on the roster, he slowly walks up. He hits the ring, and hops in.

Jim Cornette: Jay, I don't really have too much to say, but welcome. I'm proud to have you as apart of my brand.
Jay Lethal: Thanks a lot Mr. Cornette, but you know what? I actually...I actually wanted to go to the other brand. My heart belongs in the X-Division, but most of all - my heart belongs on X-Plosion.
Jim Cornette: I'm sorry, I truly apologize Jay. But I believe the since iMPACT! drafted every champion on the entire TNA Roster, I may be able to work something out with Nash. I'll see what I can do.
Jay Lethal: You know what man, you don't need to be sorry. I just want you guys to know, that wherever I go, I will...give my very best. And this Sunday, come Bound For Glory, I will be entering ATL with this title around my waist, and I'll be leaving the exact same. Way.
Jim Cornette: Alrighty Jay, you may go. Good luck with your match at Bound For Glory. Up next, I want to call out a guy that will have wrestled in TNA for one year this Sunday at Bound For Glory.
Mike Tenay: Don, I think we all know the man who Jim Cornette's talking about!
Don West: We sure do, and look in the eyes of Kurt Angle!

Angle, who stands on the entrance ramp beside his wife Karen, and beside the three members of XXX, takes his glasses off. He stares at Cornette, and begins walking very slowly. Karen follows. Before Angle gets in the ring, he holds the rope down for Karen. She gets in.

Jim Cornette: Welcome Angle, to TNA iMPACT!. I'd like to say that it is an honor to have the TNA World Heavyweight Champion here on iMPACT!.
Kurt Angle Thanks. But Cornette...as the TNA Champion, I must say. It is a honor to be drafted to your show.
Jim Cornette: Well I'm glad you're here Kurt. And this Sunday, good luck with your match against...
Kurt Angle: ...
Jim Cornette: Wait a minute, where's...
Karen Angle: Yes Mr. Cornette?
Jim Cornette: Where the hell's Sting?
Kurt Angle: Oh God! Get out here Sting, right now!
Sting: Yo, Kurt! Up here!
Mike Tenay: Where the hell is he?

The camera zooms throughout the iMPACT! Zone, in search of Sting. Finally, he is seen up on the balcony.

Don West: And there he is!

Sting comes off the balcony, connected to a harness. Once he gets to the ring, he gets out of the harness, and charges Angle. Angle tries to hit a clothesline, but Sting ducks. Angle turns around, and Sting begins chopping him, and hammering away at his face. The whole heel side of the roster runs to get in the ring, as the faces do the same. The whole roster brawls, as Cornette watches from the top of the entrance tunnel in shame. Finally, Sting clotheslines Angle out of the ring. As the whole locker room fights, Sting is given a microphone from SoCal Val.

Sting: Hey Kurt! I hope you have my opponent picked out for tonight, because I have yours!

Karen Angle takes a microphone off of the announce table.

Karen Angle: Sting, I wouldn't. Since TNA's Brand Extension isn't yet in effect, Kurt can pick anyone from the whole TNA roster. So before you pick yours, I just hope that you know that I have yours picked out, and once you see who it is, you will not be talking.
Sting: Hey Karen, aren't you forgetting something? I can pick anyone from the whole TNA Roster as well.

Out of nowhere, X-Plosion's Samoa Joe shows up from behind Angle, who is walking up the other entrance ramp. Karen notices, and aware's Kurt. Kurt turns around, but Joe begins punching him back down the entrance ramp. Angle falls, and Joe looks ready to charge. Luckily, Karen shows up from behind Joe, and low blows him. Karen and Kurt run off, as Sting watches on. The roster keeps fighting.

Mike Tenay: Look at the chaos here in the iMPACT! Zone! All hell is breaking lose!
Don West: This is totally insane!
Mike Tenay: Well we've gotta take a quick break, but when we return, Samoa Joe takes on Kurt Angle! It's the last iMPACT! before the roster slits in half, so stick around, this is one iMPACT! you don't wanna miss!

* Commercial Break *

As we come back, Leticia Cline is backstage seen with a microphone in hand.

Leticia Cline: Standing by is "Captain Charisma" Christian Cage. Christian, may I get your...
Christian Cage: You know something toots? Last week on iMPACT!, I showed Joe that at Bound For Glory, he won't be in the ring with some "amateur"as he thinks, but he will be in the ring with the same Christian Cage that smashed some punk wannabe that of the same origin as him! He's gonna be in the ring with the same Christian Cage that has never been pinned or submitted in a TNA ring! And he damn sure will be in the ring with the same Christian Cage that destroyed him last week in that eight man tag match! Joe...this Sunday at Bound For Glory...victory will be mine! Come on, AJ.
Leticia Cline: Umm...wow. Looks like Cage has made some preparations for this Sunday. Mike, Don, back to you!

We come back to ringside, where Mike Tenay and Don West sit at the announcer's booth.

Mike Tenay: Thanks a lot Leticia, now it's time for Part One of the Pick Your Poison Match set, and up first, is Kurt Angle.
Don West: And you just have to be wondering what's going on in the mind of Angle. Moments ago, Sting really got into his head.
Mike Tenay: He sure did, Sting's plan was to use Joe as a sort of "game plan."
Don West: Oh, absolutely.

* Kurt Angle's entrance video appears on the screen. The new rap version of his song plays, as he makes his way to the ring. Karen follows, and claps for her man. Before Kurt Angle gets in the ring, he sits on the apron, and holds the rope down for his wife Karen. She gets in, and continues clapping for him as he taunts this crowd. *

Joe's music plays, and he comes out to the ring.

Mike Tenay: Don, me and you both have seen some classic battles between these two competitors. I'm just wondering if we'll see another classic brawl here tonight!

Sting is seen watching on a TV backstage.

Don West: Check out Sting backstage, you know he's gonna have to get the inside scoop on Angle's condition before Bound For Glory.

Match 1 - Pick Your Poison: Samoa Joe vs. Kurt Angle
Kurt Angle and Joe begin staring at each other. Angle circles the ring, as Joe does the same. A few seconds pass, and Angle and Joe collide, locking in arms. Joe pushes Angle back to the corner of the ring, where the turnbuckle is located. There, Angle ducks his head under the rope, forcing Referee Andrew Thomas to break Joe away. Angle gets out of the turnbuckle, and sneaks around Samoa Joe. He grabs Joe's stomach, and begins shuffling round wards. Joe grabs Angle by the head, and tries to pulls him down, but Angle dropkicks him in the back. Joe rolls over on the ground, but Angle pulls him back up shortly after. Joe gets up to his feet, and Angle hits a super early Angle Slam! Cover by Angle...1 - 2 - shoulder up by Joe! Karen Angle tells Referee Andrew Thomas to count faster, by slapping her hand on the mat a few times. Back in the ring, Joe gets halfway up, but Angle boots him a few times, forcing him back down to the mat. After Joe falls, Angle picks him up. He locks Joe's arm around the back of his neck, and picks Joe up. Joe stays in the air for a while, but finally, Angle drops him on his back. Cover by Angle, as Referee Andrew Thomas counts...1 - 2 - shoulder up by Samoa Joe, just after 2! Frustrated, Angle argues with the referee, Andrew Thomas. Thomas ignores Angle, so Angle continues to take down Joe. He picks him up again, and runs the ropes. On his way toward him, he attempts a clothesline, but Joe ducks under. Angle runs back, but Joe clotheslines him outside the ring! Joe begins to regain motivation. Suddenly, he falls, to let himself rest. Referee Andrew Thomas begins counting, as Angle lays outside the ring. 1 - 2 - Karen tries to help her husband up - 3 - 4 - Angle's forearms reach the apron - 5 - Angle gets up on the apron, but Joe pushes him off, restarting the ref's count! 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - Angle gets up off his feet, but hits the ground again after Joe hits a crossbody on him! These fans seem to be entertained. They begin chanting "TNA, TNA, TNA!" Andrew Thomas waits a few seconds, then begins counting both competitors out...1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - Joe hits the ring - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 - Angle gets in the ring, just in time! As soon as he can get up, Joe hits him a few times with his foot, but Angle catches his foot, forcing him to thee mat! Suddenly, The Ankle Lock is locked in! Joe begins squealing, but fails to escape. After a few seconds, Joe gets close to the bottom rope! Just before Joe can grab it, Angle locks the hold in with his thighs! Joe cannot help himself now, as he stretches for the rope. After a long period of time, Joe grabs the rope! However, Angle refuses to let Joe escape. Andrew Thomas tries to make Angle let go, but Angle still refuses. Andrew Thomas begins counting...1 - Karen Angle, from outside the ring pulls the rope, assuring that Joe cannot escape! Andrew Thomas then motions that Karen Angle is banned from ringside! Karen argues with the ref, but he refuses to allow Karen to stay. Finally, many security guards escort Angle out of the iMPACT! Zone! Cameras follow, and Angle watches on the Titan Tron. He looks very angry, and is caught off guard. He doesn't notice Samoa Joe, who's just behind him! Joe rolls The TNA World Heavyweight Champion up in a schoolboy! Referee Andrew Thomas gets down on the mat and begins counting...1 - 2 - Angle kicks out, just in time! Both main event superstars get up off the ground quickly, and regroup. Angle grabs Joe's hand, and pulls him across the ring for an Irish Whip! Joe's back lands heavily up against the turnbuckle. This is easily seen, as he begins to get groggy. Angle taunts the crowd, causing many "boo's" throughout the iMPACT! Zone. He then runs toward Samoa Joe, charging him heavily, attempting a clothesline. However, Joe puts his boot up, hitting Angle perfectly in the face. Angle backs up, and wobbles around, holding his face. Joe sits on the top turnbuckle, leaving his feet on the middle turnbuckle. Joe tries to kick Angle in the face, but Angle grabs his foot and begins hammering away at Joe's mid section. Joe jerks his head away, but starts to hit Angle. After Angle is weakened, he grabs Angle's head. He picks Angle up in perfect position for a Muscle Buster! Joe stands tall on the second turnbuckle. Finally, he jumps off, hitting a Super Muscle Buster on Angle! Angle's head jerks back heavily, and Joe's does the same. After a few seconds of laying on the mat in pain, Angle puts his arm around the weakened Kurt Angle. Referee Andrew Thomas gets down on the mat, and counts. Joe then hooks the leg on the cover...1 - 2 - 3! Samoa Joe has just pinned The Champion!
WINNER: Samoa Joe, at 7:52

Mike Tenay: Oh my God!
Don West: Can you believe this?! Joe has just pinned The Champion, just three days away from his big match against Sting at Bound For Glory!
Mike Tenay: This is crazy!

Joe holds his side, as Angle leaves the ring and walks down the ramp. He stares at Joe.

Don West: If you would've told me that Joe will defeat Angle tonight on iMPACT!, I would've told you that you were crazy! This should psych Angle out in his match with Sting at Bound For Glory!
Mike Tenay: Oh absolutely. But remember, Angle still has his chance to psych Sting out before their match at Bound For Glory. That'll be later tonight, but up next, Black Reign in action!

* Commercial Break *

Mike Tenay: And we're back here on iMPACT!, and look who's making their way out the ring.

Black Reign makes his way to the ring.

Don West: When you see Black Reign, you can smell fear!
Mike Tenay: I'm really curious to see who's gonna win this one!
Don West: Same with me, I'm wondering how the X-Division Champ will do against a monster like Black Reign.

Jay Lethal's music plays, as he proudly walks to the ring. Music similar to Randy Savage's can be heard in the background.

Mike Tenay: This match is now on. No telling what we just might see here.

Match 2 - Jay Lethal vs. Black Reign
The match begins with a loud ring from the bell. The monstrous Black Reign stares at Jay Lethal, and suddenly attacks. He pushes Lethal into the corner, and begins hammering away at him. He hits Lethal with a few uppercuts, continuing left and right. Lethal pushes Black Reign back, but he just gets choked into the corner by the monstrous Black Reign. Lethal begins yelling in pain, as Referee Earl Hebner threatens Black Reign with a count out. However, Reign refuses to let go, causing Earl Hebner to count Black Reign out. 5 will result in a disqualification. 1 - 2 - Reign hits an uppercut to prevent being disqualified. Lethal falls back up against the turnbuckle, but wobbles around the ring afterwards. Reign then begins running the ropes. Lethal jumps completely over his head, but Reign turns around and hits an uppercut throat thrust. Lethal gets groggy for yet another time. He kneels down and holds his ribs, but Black Reign continues to head in Lethal's direction. As Lethal stands still, Reign quickly bypasses Lethal, only to hit a Running Stunner on him! Lethal falls to the mat, and Black Reign goes for the quick and easy cover...1 - 2 - shoulder by Lethal! Reign rests on one knee, and stares at Referee Earl Hebner, directly in the eye. Hebner ignores him. No matter, because Reign just picks Lethal right back up, and hits a Reverse DDT Backbreaker! He forces Lethal into staying in the same position by not letting go, then lifts him up high. All the blood in Lethal's head runs into the top, when suddenly, Reign drops him backwards, hitting a Reverse Back Suplex! Cover by Reign...1 - 2 - shoulder up by Lethal, causing Black Reign to become very frustrated. He gets up, and heads to the direction of the nearest turnbuckle. Lethal manages to crawl up, but only to get locked in position for yet another Running Stunner from Black Reign! Luckily for Lethal, he finds a key point in the match, when he pushes Black Reign away, and Reign comes back, because it is then that he hits a enziguiri right across the face of Black Reign! Lethal hooks the leg, and the referee counts...1 - 2 - Black Reign completely tosses Lethal off of him, breaking up the pinfall. Before Black Reign can get up, Lethal hits a Buzzsaw Kick onto Black Reign! Reign gets up quickly, in such a way that he acts as if he is a snake or some sort of reptile. He stares Lethal on, letting him know that he is not affected by Lethal's moves. Reign picks Lethal up, hitting a choke bomb! Cover by Reign...1 - 2 - kick out by Lethal, just in the knick of time! Reign picks "Black Machismo" up, as the camera gets a good shot of the entrance tunnel. Coming through, is the X-Division Title Challenger, Christopher Daniels. Reign drags Lethal into a corner, and begins hitting his famous uppercut throat thrust attacks. Before Reign can lock in a chokehold on him, he grabs his open hands. He then kicks Black Reign in the leg, followed by a dropkick! Reign bounces back, as Lethal begins climbing up the turnbuckle. Reign falls over, and as he lays on the ground, he pushes Earl Hebner into the rope with his foot, causing the ref to force Lethal to land straight on his section between the legs. Hebner falls to the mat. Daniels notices, and sprints to the ring. He makes it in there, and begins punching Lethal, who sits on the top turnbuckle. Reign gets up and pushes Daniels out of the way. Reign then hits a choke bomb on Lethal, knocking him off the top turnbuckle in which he rests on. Earl Hebner turns to the direction of Black Reign. Reign begins dragging Lethal off the ground, and hits a few uppercut throat thrusts, followed by a move similar to Delayed Vertical Suplex, called The Schizophrenic! Lethal lands heavily on the mat. Reign covers...1 - 2 - 3! After the match, Father James Mitchell comes out to the ring. He pulls some handcuffs out of his pocket, and locks Lethal's hands around the ring post. Reign hammers away at Lethal, as Daniels comes into the ring to enjoy watching his soon-to-be opponent, Jay Lethal be punished by Mitchell. After Lethal falls back, Reign gets his rat out of its cage. He puts it in a bag, and James Mitchell ties it around Lethal's face. We then cut to commercial.

WINNER: Black Reign, at 5:49

* Commercial Break *

Mike Tenay: And we're back here on iMPACT!, and we'd like to take these next moments to tell you guys about the upcoming TNA Pay Per View Event. It is Bound For Glory, and it's happening this Sunday, live from Atlanta. Up first on the card, we have The Knockouts Battle Royal, featuring Awesome Kong, Jazz, Gail Kim, Christy Hemme, Jackie Moore, Ms. Brooks, and many others. And the winner receives the vacant TNA Knockouts Championship. Don't miss it!
Don West: Also at Bound For Glory, Christian Cage, the undefeated former TNA World Heavyweight Champion, faces the "Unstoppable Samoan Submission Machine," Samoa Joe, but get this! There must be a winner, and plus - Matt Morgan will be the Special Enforcer. It's not about the titles, it's not about the gimmicks, it's all about respect! And this Sunday at Bound For Glory, we'll see some respect alright!
Mike Tenay: And speaking of "title matches," I believe Team Pacman will be facing two thirds of The Christian Coalition, AJ Styles and Tomko.
Don West: Oh, and that is one you don't want to miss! Then for our main event. Mike, are you ready for this?!
Mike Tenay: Yes, I certainly am.
Don West: On one side of the ring, you have Sting! "The Icon," the man who won The TNA World Heavyweight Championship one year ago this Sunday at Bound For Glory. Then on the other side of the ring, you have The TNA Worlds Heavyweight Champion, "The Wrestling Machine," Kurt Angle! And over the past couple weeks we've seen some assaults coming from both sides of the fence.
Mike Tenay: Sure is right, earlier tonight we saw Sting being lowered down by a harness, and physically attacking The World Champion. When these two men go at it, do yourself a favor, and don't miss it!

* A VIDEO PACKAGE IN HONOR OF BOUND FOR GLORY IS SHOWN. IT ADVERTISES THE EVENT BY BUILDING UP HYPE FOR MANY OF THE MATCHES *

* Commercial Break *

As we come back on iMPACT!, Karen Angle is seen backstage with Kurt Angle and Kevin Nash.

Karen Angle: Kurt, OK, listen. I think you've gone way too far with Sting here. You've attacked his high school son, you've cheated to make him tap out, you've just crossed the line.
Kurt Angle: Oh, I crossed the line? I'm not the one who jumped ff a balcony here, I'm not the one that ruined The TNA Word Heavyweight Champion's iMPACT! Introduction Ceremony, am I?
Kevin Nash: OK, wait a minute here. Kurt, you don't think you've crossed the line just a little bit, man? You attacked the guy's poor son, and that's not low?
Kurt Angle: OK, whatever. Maybe I did cross the line a little bit, but you have to admit, he deserved it.
Karen Angle: How did he deserve this? You attacked his son!
Kurt Angle: Do you not realize this?! This happens every single time! When I do something it's such a big deal, but when someone else does something it's no big deal. Karen, he almost got you in big trouble with the law, on purpose? Oh, but of course "he didn't do anything."
Kevin Nash: Whatever you guys, just listen. Tonight, Sting has a big match against any person on the whole TNA roster of your choice. Angle, who's it gonna be?
Kurt Angle: I have no idea, I've been trying to find someone that can take him out before our match this Sunday.
Kevin Nash: Well Angle, whoever it is, be smart. I'm gonna ask you to stay backstage the whole time during Sting's match.
Karen Angle: Kurt, he's right. You can't risk getting hurt, you've already faced Samoa Joe, and got attacked by Sting.
Kurt Angle: You know what, you guys can't just make me stay back here. Nash, you may be the General Manager, but not on the same show that I'm on.
Karen Angle: Please Kurt, please. Just whatever you do, don't get hurt.

We head back to the ring. There, we see Jeff Jarrett.

Jeff Jarrett: Last week, on iMPACT!, Jim Cornette chose his group of guys, and Nash chose his. Well there's a little bit of laws I need to lay out. See, last week, I announced that all the champions would be defending their titles on both brands. Well here's how it's gonna work. Next week, after Bound For Glory, the Brand Extension will be in affect. This means that the champions have nowhere to go. So as of right now, I'm demanding that all five TNA Champions defend on iMPACT! next week, and X-Plosion the next week. So if Kurt Angle successfully defends he TNA World Title, he will be back on iMPACT! next week, but the week after he'll be on X-Plosion. If he loses the Title Match at Bound For Glory, he'll remain on IMPACT!...

Kurt Angle's new music plays, as he walks down the entrance ramp.

Kurt Angle: Hold up, hold up, hold up. Jarrett, if I'm not mistaken, you just said "if" I successfully win the title, I will be on iMPACT! next week. So I just got one question. Are you doubting me?
Jeff Jarrett: I believe...I am.
Kurt Angle: You're telling me, that I'm not as great as a wrestler as Sting? Jarrett, I'm the only Olympic Gold Medalist this business has ever seen.
Jeff Jarrett: Angle, I understand that winning something may be a big accomplishment...well at least for you, but for me, that's absolutely NOTHING.

Angle turns red in anger. His wife, Karen has to restrain him.

Kurt Angle: I'll show you what nothing is, tonight in the ring! That's if you're man enough to face me?
Jeff Jarrett: Angle, I have no problem facing you. However, TNA management can't let you have two matches before The World Title Match at Bound For Glory. But I'll tell you what. Come this Sunday at Bound For Glory, if you're still The Champion, next week on iMPACT!, I face Sting, winner receives a #1 Contender's spot. If you are to lose The Title this Sunday at Bound For Glory, I face you next week on iMPACT!.

This iMPACT! Zone crowd transforms reactions. Now, these fans are cheering.

Kurt Angle: I accept. Next week on iMPACT!, I don't even have to face you, because I will always be the TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Oh, it's true. It's damn true.

Angle's music plays, as he can be seen staring at Jarrett from the entrance ramp. Behind him is his wife, Karen.

Mike Tenay: Oh my God, did you just hear that? Loser of The Title Match at Bound For Glory faces Jarrett next week on iMPACT! to claim their #1 Contender Spot!
Don West: Oh, I just can't wait for that.
Mike Tenay: Well I hope you can wait just a little while,. because we've gotta take a quick break! But when we return, Havok will be in action. Stick around!

* Commercial Break *

Mike Tenay: And we're back here on iMPACT!, and check out who's already in the ring!
Don West: It's Shark Boy! You've gotta feel sorry for him having to take on Havok. One has to wonder what he'll look like after this match!
Mike Tenay: But first, a word from JB, Jeremy Borash, backstage.

Backstage, Jeremy Borash is seen, microphone in hand.

Jeremy Borash: Folks, this Sunday is the biggest pay per view event of the year, featuring an Ultimate-X Match, the first ever Knockouts Battle Royal to determine the vacant TNA Knockout's Champion owner, Team Pacman has their hands full as they take on Styles and Tomko from The Christian Coalition, but most of all, we have Kurt Angle who is defending the title against Sting. It's all going down this Sunday at Atlanta, and it's one pay per view you don't want to miss! So anyway, standing beside is the TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Kurt Angle. Kurt, who will you be choosing to take on Sting this week in our iMPACT! Main Event?
Kurt Angle: Well you know JB, since my wife thinks that she controls my every move, I'm gonna let her decide.
Jeremy Borash: Well Karen, who's it gonna be?
Karen Angle: Well, I really don't know, I haven't found anyone who really wants to yet.
Kurt Angle: Well don't you think you may need to find someone? The match is right after Havok and Shark Boy.

Father James Mitchell walks up from behind Angle. Karen and Kurt take time to discuss how they can ask Mitchell. Finally, Karen chases him down.

Karen Angle: Wait, James!

* We head back out to the ring. *

Havok's music plays, as he heads to the ring.

Mike Tenay: Here comes Havok, and you can tell he means major business.
Don West: You can see it in his eyes!

Match 3 - Havok vs. Shark Boy
The match begins with a ring from the bell. Havok tries to hit a very early clothesline on Shark Boy, even before the bell. Shark Boy ducks under Havok's arm, and runs the ropes. When he gets to the nearest rope, he slides out of the ring. Havok stares for a second, then gets out of the ring himself to go chase after Shark Boy. Havok doesn't seem to be able to keep up with Shark Boy. In a major level of frustration, Havok punches the ring post hard. He then crawls into the ring, where he meets Shark Boy. He tries to get up, but before he can, Shark Boy hits a dropkick! Havok falls, and Shark Boy makes a quick cover...1 - Havok chunks Shark Boy a long way, breaking up the pinfall. Shark Boy gets back up, and so does Havok, at the same time. Shark Boy looks on in fear, as Havok stares at him. Finally, Havok hits a long-awaited clothesline on Shark Boy, forcing him into back flipping around. He lands heavily on the ground. Havok stares at Shark Boy, watching him roll around the ring in deep amount of pain. After that, Havok heads toward the injured Shark Boy, and picks him up off the ground. After Shark Boy is up, but still in pain, Havok picks him up for a spinning reverse neckbreaker, after catching him in the air! Havok stares at a camera that is being aimed directly toward him. He then lays on top of the pulverized Shark Boy for the quick cover...1 - 2 - 3! Havok wins the match.
WINNER: Havok, at 1:02

Don West: No surprise at all there.
Mike Tenay: Absolutely not. Up next, is our iMPACT! Main Event, featuring Sting, as he faces anyone of Kurt Angle's choosing. Stick around!

* Commercial Break *

Mike Tenay: We're back here on iMPACT!, and still wondering who Sting might be facing.
Don West: Well let's get him out here, I'm ready for this.

Sting's music plays. Shortly after it can be heard, we see Sting coming through the tunnel. He steps in the ring.

Sting: Hey Kurt! Why don't you come out here like a real man, and tell me who I'm facing!

Nothing.

Mike Tenay: Well, is he coming?

We then hear Angle's new music. He comes out on the entrance ramp.

Karen Angle: Without further adieu, I'd like to introduce Sting's opponent tonight, accompanied to the ring by James Mitchell, this is Judas Mesias!

Sting looks a little intimidated. Mesias comes up from behind Sting on the other side of the tunnel. Suddenly his music stops.

Karen Angle: Oh, but wait Sting. Do you remember earlier tonight, when you got the whole iMPACT! roster to come and attack my man, the TNA World Heavyweight Champion? Well I'm guessing that since you can have multiple people assaulting Angle, hat you can have multiple people, assaulting you. So let me introduce to you, your next opponent. He is the man who destroyed The X-Division Champion earlier tonight. He is, Black Reign!

Sting stares at Karen Angle. He shows a bit of intimidation.

Karen Angle: Wait a minute, that's not all. You'll also be facing the man who just destroyed Shark Boy in the center of the ring just minutes ago. Your next opponent, Havok!

Havok's music plays again, as he heads back top the ring with his same pink face paint.

Sting: Hold up! Just because I may have caused the whole iMPACT! roster to fight, does that mean I have to face three opponents? Of course it does!
Karen Angle: What?!
Sting: That's right, I will be facing three monsters tonight. With one of my own!

Karen and Kurt look very worried.

Mike Tenay: What the hell? Who is Sting talking about here?
Don West: I was wondering the exact same thing!

Abyss' music begin playing.

Mike Tenay: Oh my God! Sting just called in his good friend, "The Monster" Abyss!
Don West: This is amazing! Who would've ever thought that we' end up seeing these two friends reunite in action together?
Mike Tenay: Well I guess it's time, let's get the match underway!

Main Event - Pick Your Poison: Sting and Abyss vs. The Monster Squad
The match begins. Inside the ring are Havok and Sting. Sting walks up to Havok, locking in an arm bar twist and pull. Havok gets down on a knee, but gets up shortly after to fight Sting out of the hold. He does, reversing the hold into an arm bar of his own. He then kicks Sting in the leg, and hits a DDT! Cover by Havok, and Referee Andrew Thomas is quick on the count...1 - 2 - shoulder up by Sting, as soon as the referee's hand hits the mat a second time. Havok gets up, dragging Sting's arm. This causes Sting to get up as well, and to get Irish whipped into the turnbuckle by Havok! Havok stomps Sting a few times, then makes a direct tag to Judas Mesias. Judas gets in, quickly hitting Sting a few times with his elbow. Sting wobbles around in grogginess, as Mesias runs the ropes. He comes back toward Sting, and hits a back cracker! Cover by Mesias...1 - 2 - Abyss stomps on Mesias, breaking up the hold. Mesias doesn't even care, for he gets up and pulls Sting up into the air by his neck. Before Sting can escape, Mesias hits a choke bomb! Sting hits the mat hard, and Mesias tags in Havok again. As soon as Havok is tagged, he quickly jumps into the ring, and hits Sting a few times with his boot. Sting crawls on the ground, but this can't prevent Havok from attacking; Havok keeps these boots coming. Sting eventually stumbles off his knees, landing straight on the mat. As Sting continues to get worn out, Havok kneels down. He then locks Sting in a vicious Cobra Clutch! Sting begins squealing in pain. Havok tries to get Sting to stop yelling, by consistently hitting heavy blows to Sting's mouth area. The referee watches on from the mat, making sure that Sting is OK. Abyss runs into the ring to break up the hold, and actually does. The referee breaks "The Monster" Abyss away from Havok. Abyss gets back on the apron, but before he knows it, is hit by a forearm of Havok's. Abyss falls down off the apron, but gets right back up. He tries to get in the ring, but the referee still won't allow him to. As the referee's back is turned to Abyss, Black Reign gets in the ring to assist Havok. Together, they pick up Sting, hitting a double suplex! The referee sees Black Reign, and tells him to leave the ring. He does, and while this is going on, Havok picks up Sting. He drags Sting to the area where Black Reign and Judas Mesias are, and makes a tag to Black Reign. For the first time in this match, Reign gets to be the legal man. He starts off with a few uppercut throat thrusts, followed by his signature Running Stunner! Sting falls, and Black Reign covers, after a small hesitation...1 - 2 - shoulder up by Sting! Reign watches Sting struggle to get back up off the ground, but allows him to. Sting gets up, and begins hammering away at Black Reign's mid section. Reign pulls his hair, but Sting thumbs him in the eye! Reign stumbles back, then charges Sting. He tries to hit a flying clothesline, but Sting hits him in the face, forcing him back. After Reign falls back, Sting charges him, hits a clothesline, and out of the ring goes Black Reign! This crowd begins to get very hyped up, as Sting begins building up momentum. He then tags in Abyss, and this crowd is even more pumped. Both Havok and Mesias charge Sting and Abyss, but get taken down by clotheslines! Reign gets up on the apron, but Abyss hits a big boot, knocking him off the apron. Sting then Irish whips Havok into the corner. After he hits a Irish whip on Havok, he does the same to Mesias. After Mesias, he intentionally Irish whips his own partner, causing Abyss to run into both Havok and Mesias. Mesias and Havok rest on the turnbuckle, as Sting delivers a "high five" to his partner, Abyss. He then hits a Stinger Splash on both of them! By now, Black Reign is back up, and he gets in the ring, immediately attacking Sting with his famous uppercut throat thrusts. Abyss runs to Sting's aide, as he grabs Black Reign's arm. Reign turns around, but gets Irish whipped into the ropes by Abyss! Reign runs back, but gets caught up in a Black Hole Slam by Abyss! To secure a pinfall, Sting hits a clothesline on Mesias, allowing Abyss to cover...1 - 2 - 3! Abyss and Sting have just defeated James Mitchell's Monster Squad! Angle looks on in anger.
WINNER: Sting and Abyss, at 9:32

Mike Tenay: And look at this! Kurt Angle looks in absolute shock!
Don West: You can tell that really got in his head, considering we're just three days away from their match at Bound For Glory.
Mike Tenay: Well we're almost out of time, be sure to catch us this Sunday at Bound For Glory, as we present the bigest pay per view event of the year. Also, this Tuesday on SpikeTV, after The Scream Awards, will be the first ever TNA X-Plosion to be aired nation wide, and it will fearure some of TNA's top talent. Christian Cage, Samoa Joe, Junior Fatu, LAX, AJ Styles, and Tomko will be there, do not miss it! Well we're out of time, so long!

BM: Joe/Angle
WM: Havok/ Sharky, no explanation needed

BP: Karen/Kurt/Nash
WP: Cornette/Lethal, with Black Machismo you at least need 1 "ooooooooooh yeeaaaahh" c'mon

Add. Comments: Your matches are great again and I loved both of the pick your posion matches but a bit of constructive criticism, I don't really enjoy your promo's. They lack character and aren't that long but hey nobody's perfect...

Best Match: Sting/Abyss vs. The Monster Squad

Worse Match: Havok/Sharky

Best Interview/Segment: Kurt & Karen Angle/Kevin Nash

Worse Interview/Segment: Cornette/Lethal- As previously mentioned, you need at least 1 "Ohhhhhh, Yeeeeaaaaaahhh!" in there...

Additional Feedback: This was a pretty good show. I like the way your matches are written out because their pretty easy to read and you transition throughout the match nicely. I think that your promos need a bit of work as Switchy pointed out they lack character and aren't as long as they should be. But other than that it was a great read and I really enjoyed every match except for Havok vs. Shark Boy. I honestly think that you stepped up your match writing skills over time though you still need to work on your promos. Keep up the good work but also try to improve with your promos.

Really great show man. My only complaint is that it seems that we had to
wait a long time before the first match began. There were too mnay
wrestlers having too many interviews/promos in the beginning that people
might start to lose interest before the first match. Other than that, keep up the good work!

Additional comments: Maybe some better spacing and balancing between promos and matches time wise. Also like the guys above me have said some lack of cahracter in the promos. But your matches are very fluid and great to read.

TNA Official Bound For Glory Preview

This Sunday, in Atlanta, Georgia, history will be made. This here, is no joke. It is what TNA is all about. It's the Super Bowl to the NFL, the World Series to the MLB, the Finals to the NBA, only this is different. This is Bound For Glory. And it's what TNA is all about.

A few weeks ago, on The Brand Extension Special, with help from his wife Karen, The TNA World's Heavyweight Champion was able to defeat Sting in a four - on - four matchup. This heated rivalry just might come to an end at Bound For Glory.

cagejoe.jpg

For the past couple weeks, Cage has been getting into Samoa Joe's head. After coming off with an impressive submission victory on Kurt ngle last week on iMPACT!, how will this effect Joe? Will he be in the winning mood, or will he be unfresh? Find out this Sunday at Bound For Glory.

xtitle.jpg

At last week's Brand Extension, Jay Lethal and Christopher Daniel's good friend and tg team partner, Senshi collided. It turned out with Jay Lethal coming out on top, but how will this effect him going into Bound For Glory?

ultimatex.jpg

Also at Blound For Glory, XXX will be taking on LAX, in a Ultimate-X, where the winner will be granted a future TNA World Tag Team Title shot. Which of these teams has the most experience in this type of match? Only time will tell...

tagtitle.jpg

Two thirds of Christian's Coalition, both Tomko and AJ Styles were recently announced Tag Team Title #1 Contenders. Without Pacman Jones, how can Killings be able to defeat two men at once? Will he call in someone to help? Find out as TNA presents Bound For Glory, live rom Atlanta this Sunday.

Great preview. It is gonna be interesting to see if you can make it better than the real one considering it's the same matches and I'm loking forward to Team Pacman Vs AJ/Tomko just to see if Truth gets a mystery partner or battles alone and I'm also loking forward to ultimate X those matches are entertaining even when you can't see it. Great preview keep it up :)

Awesome preview! Sounds like it's going to be a good show, but I hope u add some matches because 5 matches for the biggest TNA PPV event isn't that great. So if u add 2-3 more matches it will be an amazing show. So good luck and it should be good.
