Thoughts On The TNT Title Belt

I really hope they do put something over the black TNT cos it looks ugly and way too harsh the way it is.

I would never have known the building was supposed to be Ted Turner's mansion if I hadn't been told. We don't have TNT channel here so I know nothing about it.

Also why is the strap red?

I'm a fan of the red strap, especially for Midcard titles. Any alternate strap color really, but only for midcard ones bc I prefer my world titles to be classic

I would say there's a good chance it's an homage to the NWA TV Title which is kinda like the spiritual predecessor to this belt.

'Unfinished belt' just sounds like a stupid 'disclaimer' so that when people shit on it, that's just the excuse to grab, 'oh, it's ok, it's not done yet'. If it's not done, why even bother presenting it?

I really miss old style belts, they were so much nicer and an air of prestige. That belt is shit, and, not taking the 'unfinished' excuse, no one puts something out there that isn't done.

It's not like they came up with some shit hours after the fact when everyone had already shit on it. They said as soon as they brought it out on TV that it wasn't finished.

They shouldn't have presented it in the first place if unfinished imo, and, the gold plate isn't going to change much at all for me, only because of the giant black TNT. I guess I just hate belts that need to have giant lettering on them spelling out the network haha, just looks so pathetic. I am just a bitter asshole atm, too. If they got rid of the TNT lettering, it would look better.

I think mainly because they had all this announced and people would’ve probably been mad if they didn’t have a title for the title match. So they was gonna have all these complaints any way.

I am just hating the TNT part of the belt so much. The gold plating does look nice, but, the bold, black TNT ruins it for me. Maybe I am just petty.

I could do without it also, but it’s not gonna be make or break for me. Maybe at some point it will get a better redesign.

I think they felt they had to since they had Tyson there, he had to be serving a purpose.

Either that or they knew they had a shit belt and thought they could save face by having Tyson be the one to present it.

Who knows.
