Ok really WWE? REALLY? Can Sheamus actually pin a credible opponent in a clean match. Ever since he has became WWE Champ, WWE hasn't given us a damn reason to care about him. It is really pissing me off how he couldn't even pull a clean win on Cena now Orton match ends in DQ? WTF?

I do think WWE has given us a reason to care, but tbh, how many people actually get to pin Cena and Orton. Sheamus goes out there, cuts a promo saying he defeated Cena and Orton and the people buy it and give him heat, so it's apparently working.

The fact that he's still the champion is enough of a surprise tbh.

You're looking at it too one-dimensionally. It is not as though they ended Orton/Sheamus in DQ just for the hell of it. The ending served a specific purpose in furthering the Legacy storyline. And I don't quite understand why you're so up in arms about him not defeating John Cena cleanly. It's not often that a upper midcard heel beats a top level face cleanly.

Royal Rumble PPV's usually end via something fishy, they aren't the highlight of the night- the title matches aren't the focus. The light is on the Royal Rumble match itself and with that being the main event most of the time, the others are just thrown away as if they aren't important ending in random decisions.

It's call Building Sheamus, Fans are starting to take him very seriously and in the end result not damaging Cena/Orton Credibility. Plus aswell it is starting the Demise of Legacy something pretty similiar to Evoultion, except Ted didn't win reumble and Orton isn't champion. Expect Ted to Pin Orton or screw up at Elimination Chamber.

I don;t get the whole cleaning beating Cena in a tables match. He put him through a table. End of match. No one interfered in the match, Cena just kind of stuffed up the ending a bit. That's not a dirty finish.

It's a piss weak basis for a championship reign tho' IMO. Especially if you're gonna continue to book/feature your champ they way they have Seamus since TLC.

Whilst I don't expect him to eat up the entire Raw ME without even chewing, can we not at least see SOMETHING to substantiate his oft refered to "dominance"? ....If he was on SD right now I think he'd at least be beating credible midcard guys like Matt, Truth, Finlay & maybe JoMo to cement himself (rather than 4ft guys like Noble & Bourne).

All I'm being sold here is a lucky champ.

^Exactly. It's not like the guy needs to go out there and completely dominate Cena or Orton and make them look like fools. But Orton very well could have been pinned their match at the Rumble... simply could have had Cody distract him by accident have then have him walk into a pump kick or Celtic Cross. Instead they went the ridiculous route of having him have Sheamus beat. I don't know how long they plan on keeping the title on this guy but they need to make up their minds...is he lucky or is he a dominant beast??

I mean the guy is pretty damn good in the ring and his promos are definitely starting to improve. He's even starting to draw a legit amount of heat.

I say have him put Kofi on the shelf.... Just a shame it's too close to WM for a good injury angle. They could fued after WM (once Seamus has pressumably dropped the title).

So, the Legacy storyline is more important than making their champ look strong? Sheamus' title reign has sucked so far. Who has he pinned? What makes the commentators talk up so highly of his dangerousnous? If he's so tough and bad ass, why haven't I seen it? Hell, even on house shows he can't get a pin. It's all dq's. The sooner he loses the title the better imo. I can't tak the guy seriously. He sure as heel don't look like a threat to anyone besides guys like Jamie Noble and Evan Bourne.

It is not necessarily more important, though it is still important. My point was that they didn't just have Orton choke him out to fill out a five-count; THAT would have made Sheamus look weak. Sheamus actually looked stronger here in the sense that he only lost due toe interference. Everybody is too up-in-arms that Sheamus doesn't look legitimate enough as the champion. They are obviously trying something unqiue with him and not going for the usual route of "I'M BIG BE SCARED OF ME!" He'll eventually drop the belt and be re-pushed slower, but at least he'll have this under him, something that pretty much every other big guy they push cannot say.

No aparently it was more important. Orton had Sheamus down for the 1 2 3. The only thing that saved him was the interference. Sheamus looked weak. In order for him to not look weak, he could have atelast had Orton down after the kick, the Razor's Edge, or the Irish Curse, THEN have Legacy come in. At least during the time of the interferrence, Sheamus was in controll and could have had the match won.

Everybody is too up-in-arms that Sheamus doesn't look legitimate enough as the champion. What's so unique about his title reign? You don't talk someone up all the time about being dominant/strong and then have a reign like this. Who has he beat clean? Bourne? Evan Bourne? That's how you build up your champ? Make him look great against jobber Bourne but when it's someone big make him look weak? He doesn't even have to always when clean, he's a heel. But a DOMINANT HEEL! Him getting a dq when he was clearly beatin' isn't unique. It makes him look weak. Him getting a dq in a title match just to furthur another storyline that has nothing to do with him or the title isn't unique. It makes him as well as the title look weak. Like I said before, on house shows he can't even get a pin fall. He gets dq'd in all the one's where he's going against someone big. Why have him go against a big name when he's going to look weak? Mr. Big dominant champ is looking weak.

His build-up to winning the title was weak. Beating the crap out of Jamie Noble? Attacking a commentator? Slamming a guest host threw the table when he could have shown his dominance in throwing Cena (the champ) threw the table? The Raw before his title match. WOW. So what if he slammed Cena threw the table the week before, he's dominant right? DO IT AGAIN!! He's an after thought on the show. How many times was he mentioned last night? The opening segment? That's just because Edge was there. The only time he looks any good is during some segments or after matches where he attacks the big name. That's it. His title reign isn't unique. It's a joke.

I don't see how that would reflect on Seamus at all (in terms of kayfabe).

Think of the intentional DQs by Punk on Jeff or Orton on Cena.... Didn't make them look bad at all.

Sheamus actually looked stronger here in the sense that he only lost due toe interference.

Except Seamus WON by DQ, having been shown to be out cold after a legal RKO.

Everybody is too up-in-arms that Sheamus doesn't look legitimate enough as the champion.

You've not really countered with anything here to change my mind.

They are obviously trying something unqiue with him and not going for the usual route of "I'M BIG BE SCARED OF ME!" He'll eventually drop the belt and be re-pushed slower, but at least he'll have this under him, something that pretty much every other big guy they push cannot say.

If I were Semaus I'd be content to say the least to be mixing it with the big boys whilst having THEE belt around my waste... Doesn't mean his booking is any less detrimental to the way I perceive his character though.

I think what it comes down to now is that in the chamber (if the do decide to take the title off of him) he NEEDS to pin at least 3 of the participants. And I don't mean Ted and Kofi. He needs to get clean pins on guys like HHH, Cena, or Orton.
