Isn't that basically what they tried in an episode of the simpsons? Sending the bad seeds away during a standardized test.
Similar concept different situation, OFSTED observe a class and grade the teacher's performance if they're below a certain level they get warned with a time to fix up. My school always got pretty high scores and that was why.

Just googled it and apparently it was so common they changed the observations to random around 2 years after I left. It'll not make too much of a difference. Google Ofted cheat uk if you want more examples.

I also firmly believe things like teaching abstinence in schools really messes things up, as well as talking about marijuana and other drugs like it's the devil and the worst thing ever, instead of letting them know there will be plenty of time to get drunk or high and those choices are ones you should make when you can afford it and have been educated.
Yep especially weed, schools shit on it a lot here and it encouraged more people to do it especially at school. Tell people the dangers of every drug but don't exaggerate shit to try and scare me. Present a balanced argument to let people make decisions and let them debate it with their true opinions not what people want to hear. Schools are there to teach you less academically and most spiritually you start to get an idea who you are as a teenager and that should be encouraged. Knowing your alphabet is great, knowing it's OK to present your thoughts on why A should be after B is so much better and will get you further.

hell yeah, and especially knowing kids are going to try it. The first time they smoke and say "so and so is full of shit, this isnt bad at all!" it leads to a questioning of authority on an easier agenda for said student. Im not saying i think kids should drink or do drugs but not realizing it happens and turning a blind eye to it just promotes it all that much more.

Oh shit I get it the students were just thrown in special needs classes? We had something like that too although it was a solid idea they took some kind of labour the student enjoyed like horticulture and used that to teach them skills which were job applicable.

Makes sense at least they got some kind of backlash too many get away without issue which is annoying.

Hopefully they're pumping good money into the area too otherwise it's a pointless exercise IMO. What's the job prospects like there?
Shit I went to college and stuff afterwards to do welding but hit a brick wall as I couldn't get an apprenticeship to go on ended up stuff in an office job working for a ppi company

Sounds pretty similar to a ton of people I know, I know like 4/5 smart guys from school who've ended up cleaning hospitals for a job. There's nothing wrong with that but none of them seem to want to do it if that makes sense, you guys got any apprenticeship prepcourses? I had a buddy who went on one and got set up on an apprenticeship after around 2 months (6 week course for like job skills then the rest was just waiting.)
