What things do you all think are generally overrated? They're not as good as they are hyped up to be. It could be a celebrity, a video game, a TV show or anything.

If anyone says Randy Orton I will not be best pleased.

I'll give my usual stock answer here though. Everything is overrated because someone will inevitably overrate it. However, for the sake of giving a proper answer, something that I think has always been overrated is the movie The Shawshank Redemption. I mean, it's great and all, but the fact that it currently sits as the number one film on IMDB's Top 250 is just wrong.

Yeah but any movie that is going to be at number one and considered THE greatest movie of all time is always going to be considered overrated by some, but I guess that's basically what you said with your first point.
