I'm sitting here and thinking about it and I am beginning to wonder if we might see Sting working along with the Authority.

The reason why is that in TNA when Sting fought Samoa Joe, he became this half heel like character who was upset at the younger generation because they didn't have the loyalty or respect for the business and the business legends. That's when he joined with the Main Event Mafia but didn't 100% embrace their philosophy, but worked with them anyway.

So Sting has his match with HHH and they shake hands afterwards. He disappears after the following Raw. He then shows up in place of Seth Rollins' statue, a statue that was put there by the Authority. It could explain how he got there (not that he needs to explain since he is Sting). He trashes Seth but puts HHH over. Again, there is the lack of respect issue. There is also the strangeness of him getting a title shot, legend or not, which might link him up with them.

I dunno. I cannot say I think this will happen, but it just popped into my head so I thought I'd bring it up on the off chance.

You make a good point, but WWE creative isn't that creative.

Good point. I was half asleep and woozy from taking allergy pills when the thought came to me. I can't expect WWE creative to have such a sound frame of mind to come up with that. :smirk2:

It's awful. The Authority choosing a 56 year old man as their next chosen one instead of Rollins would be lame. lol

I wasn't really thinking chosen one. I was thinking as a sort of teach Seth Rollins some respect pawn. Sting played this role in TNA in 2008 where he was a somewhat heel who was pissed off because he felt the younger talent like Samoa Joe wasn't respecting the older talent as they should. So they had this whole feud with the younger TNA talent, called the Frontline and the older talent formed the original Main Event Mafia.

Now, I wasn't saying this will happen, but the thought popped into my head when I was thinking about Sting's little anti Seth Rollins tirade where Sting was kissing HHH's ass basically. Then I thought back to Wrestlemania where HHH shook Sting's hand. My brain (recently subjected to allergy pills) put it together as Sting seeing HHH showing him respect but Seth Rollins is not doing that. Sting does something, likely illegal to Rollins to take his belt or something and in Sting's viewpoint it is as a punishment for not showing respect to the Authority.

There doesn't always have to be a chosen one and honestly I'd like to move past that whole thing anyway.

But it was just a thought I had when I was hopped up on allergy medication and I neither actually believe it will happen nor do I want it to happen. However, it seemed very similar to me with the way Sting, Steph, HHH and Rollins were all interacting.

I get your point, buddy. I was just joking about the chosen one. The story here is RESPECT YER ELDERS, DAMMIT! Basically my point was any scenario that involves Sting working with the Authority/winning the title would be hella lame.

Oh there is absolutely zero doubt that would be incredibly lame.

The only way sting joining the authority would be awesome is if he was the main guy to "protect" Rollins when needed. Doing "justice"... He could show up when Rollins goes against all odds and looks like he will lose... Then bam! Sting shows up and saves his ass. Other than that, him being the me main guy in the authority would be shit.

Sting being the guy to protect Rollins is way better than big slow and lame
