I just want to clear the air here.... I'm not on the 'Don't let Sting win the WWE-WHC' bandwagon because LOL.
It's because how poorly he has been handled since coming to the E.
Sting should've gone over Hunter at Mania to begin with. But, instead, they had to make a joke out of his loss and have him shake his foe's hand after losing in a crappy way. Vince was probably like 'Hey, you're gonna put over HHH at Mania or there's no HOF for you, pal. Because WWE>WCW. Always and forever!'
What really makes me loathe this idea of Sting becoming the champ is because he ain't done diddly-squat in order to earn a championship match.
I get it, he's one of the GOAT, but they should've built him a bit, have him go through some competition first and then have him face Rollins.
This way, it just doesn't feel special. Sure, there's that feeling of 'Hey! It's Sting!', I mean, yeah, but why is he here? Especially after what went down at WM.
There's another thing I really hated on Raw and it's related to Sting, him kissing Hunter's ass was just ridiculous. Not his fault, though.
Don't get me wrong, I love HHH. But, why the hell would you be doing that, Sting? I mean, wake up, dude!
Forgive me for sounding like a broken record here, I'm tired of writing it for the bazillionth time, but it was really annoying watching/listening the opening segment and hear this guy talk about 'Rollins isn't half the man HHH is.' That's why you're here and gunning for the WWE-WHC?
As I've said before, HHH had his goons and a sledgehammer help him defeat Sting. You, Sting, are the so-called VIGILANTE and you're at peace with it? kthxbai
I, too, see the bigger picture behind this Rollins vs Sting match that is set to take place at Night of Champions.
HHH is the guy to trigger Seth's face turn and put him over. I mean, it was being hinted at the whole night on Raw, that Rollins was being positioned for a face turn.
It's obviously Sting's last run and they should make the most of it before the man rides off into the sunset...
So, I'll say this again. Knowing how lame WWE can get, it wouldn't shock me if they booked Sting to win, only to drop it to Sheamus a few minutes later.
Because LOL, it's what's best for business.
