Nice work, a unique style that I don't see much of in the GFX section and I hope to see more from you. Keep it up!

I like how you used a different style on the Eric Church banner. You never really did do many clean banners and I think aside from that font, which I've never really thought fits many banners well, it's a departure from the norm and it was successful. You should do more like that with a fresh style if you're getting back into graphics.

Took Ryan's advice and gave a plainer banner a whirl. Not sure on the results, but any feedback is appreciated!

You've got that grunge style nailed perfectly, there's not much improvement you can make there.

If you really want to improve I suggest branching out and experimenting with different styles. I very rarely brush and I'm still finding new features and thinking of new ideas all the time.

The only thing I'd like to see you improve specifically however is your use of text. The font designs are nice but they don't seem to flow, it stands out too much and it doesn't really compliment the piece. As a result, the text battles the render for the focus of the whole piece, which is usually not a good idea.

I think I'll probably end up trying some new techniques in the coming weeks. It's getting a little monotonous doing similar styles all the time haha.
Couldn't agree more with the text. I've always had trouble with it (hence why I leave it off in the newer stuff). I'm going to try to tackle it in the next few banners.

Text is usually a difficult choice, even the best get stuck on what to do there occassionally. Its a weird step to make in regards how you fit it into the overall design.
