Yeah, I completely agree because even WCW eventually killed the World War III gimmick. I didn’t actually mind it that much compared to some people but I can see why they didn’t want to keep doing it and there’s zero way the WWE would have a three ring set up, or try to book 60 people in a single match.

I don’t mind the uncensored name but it’s also probably my least favorite of the bunch and it’s also pretty generic word so WWE probably wouldn’t be able to trade mark it.

I keep forgetting Heatwave was an ECW show even tho the 98 and 99 ones are two of my most watched ECW shows. Doesn't feel like any kind of tribute like the others are, I wonder if it's an actual coincidence

I’ve been begging NXT to bring back SuperBrawl because it’s one of the best event names ever. NXT would become even more of my favorite if they brought one more WCW name back to life.

I could see them doing Uncensored with Netflix and RAW. Road Wild isn't gonna happen as they aren't gonna run Sturgis and WW3 won't because well we're pretty close to a real WW3 with the way the world is going and they won't want to entice too much anger based on a name. I could see the other potentially.

As much of a WCW mark that I am I actually do love that he spaces them out between the old WWF events, WCW and ECW although right now it’s just heat wave for ECW but maybe someday we’ll get another one.

With ECW I could see a potential Living Dangerously or Guilty As Charged. MAYBE November to Remember or WrestlePalooza but doubtful.

I'd LOL if NXT did a Barely Legal in about 4 years when NXT turns 18.

Would be kinda cool if it was an event that was the culmination of a tournament for people who hadn't challenged for the NXT title before. I think Ventura did a Battle Royal version of this back on Raw when Sheamus became the champion?

I didn't remember it was Ventura that was the guest host until you just said it but yeah it was exactly that, a battle royal of people who'd never win the WWE title for a shot. Except Orton managed to get into it and everyone thought it was just gonna be the 50th singles match between those too

The Breakthrough Battle Royal was awesome. Great concept, wish they did it more often.

Also it had Jesse and McMahon on commentary.

New blood rising was a one time event, but I enjoyed it and the branding was pretty cool, so I fuck with this heavy.

What kind of makes this even more perfect fit is that the first class of NXT formed the nexus faction which was basically the new blood stable, which is what this pay-per-view is named after.
