A squash match main event can be great. But Owens vs Goldberg was not executed well at all.

As for Brock, in 2014-15 he was the most entertaining novelty in the company

Remember how excited people were for his random match with Kofi at Beast in the East? That was awesome. Squashes are fun.

That was very fun indeed.

He was even good in 2016. Ignoring that terrible Dean match at Mania. But then he had that great feud with Goldberg and then had a couple of good title defenses and a great match with AJ. Just anything to do with him, Roman or Braun is fucking terrible.

Strowman and Lesnar have no chemistry

On topic post: Since I go back and forth on this, what does the value of the championship really mean? In your own words.

To me the Universal title means "best wrestler on Raw" and that gives it prestige. It's why I hate midcard belts, but so many others can look at the dog shit history of this belt and call it cursed

I don't really have any emotional attachment to the title at all. It should mean the best wrestler in the world and a world championship, which should be a very prestigious accolade. Whether it means that I don't know. Balor, Owens, Goldberg, Lesnar and Reigns are deserving champs. There has been some really good matches and moments involving the title. The title even has a +500 days reign. So on paper the title has a lot of prestige.

To me the belt that, but it also means

"Best defended hard fought and prestigiously"

Also

"Both Wrestlers would give it there all to put it around their waist"

That means more than just a 2 or 3 minute title match and a match with just 5 moves(Lesnar vs Goldberg)

What? Because a title is prestigious doesn't mean it can't have a short match. So if a world title boxing match ends with a first round knockout then the it does the title wrong? Brock vs Goldberg was the most over match on that card especially after that boring HHH vs Rollins match that went on forever and was just kick punch and rest hold.

You can't book injuries and illnesses. This is what the 'curse' is referencing to.

I don't believe in 'curse' bullshit. If you do believe in that type of stuff then grow up.
I believe in curses in that sense that if enough people believe in something bad, or just and individual person always thinking bad, bad things will come. The placebo effect proves this can go either way as do the laws of attraction and "mind over matter". The mind is a strange thing. The body is even stranger for listening.

Is that what a curse is though?

People can curse themselves and others by constantly thinking negative things, so yeah.
That's very philosophical.

In my mind a curse is when someone puts some supernatural bad luck on something or someone.

The only way those "curses" work is if the receiver believes they have been cursed. Same thing I explained above. You can believe you cursed someone but in order for them to be cursed, they too have to believe it.

I'll use a very common thing in the NFL... The fans of the Cleveland Browns (a good portion of them) believe the team is cursed. If for any reason the players start to believe it, they are accepting negative notions in their mindset and will be more likely to fail there by to the outside world looking "cursed".

I think that should have it's own name. To call that a 'curse' doesn't sit right to me. Someone keeps messing up cuz they are consciously thinking that they are cursed. The curse isn't real it's just there brain.

Yes. The more you go down a negative road the more negativity you experience.

That's what WWE was doing with that title by booking it horribly.

The injuries are things on the side, while the horrible booking is the main course.

That's what I mean on it being cursed
