I question whether anyone in WWE right now, besides Lesnar, has actual creative control written into their contract. Sure, the likes of Rollins, Reigns and maybe Styles and a couple others probably have a better likelihood of convincing the office to go a different direction, but I think they're all probably still subject to do whatever WWE wants at the end of the day.

Still, I think even if you're low in the pecking order, it's important to voice your concerns and pitch different ideas. At a certain point, you hope that they realize that maybe they don't always know best, and the talent will have an easier time embracing their material and probably thrive more if you're allowing them some level of freedom with their characters.

Uce said they have creative control, think its why the story has worked, you can tell the promos aren't scripted which should be done even down the lowercard,,vince has clearly no idea about what makes wrestling tick in 2021, such a shame to see.

Any person there can refuse to do something pitched at them....it's just up to them to come up with something better.

If they're too job scared to stand up for themselves....that's on them.

You don't bet on yourself....who else will think you're worth putting money on?

That's exactly what vince said on the Stone cold podcast years ago, he said they're just content on getting a paycheck each month and not pushing boundaries. Think roman is now, finally and for me in the form of his career, as I can't seen being a face again

Hansen was over in the US too though. He was over huge in both the WWWF and the AWA. He would have been even more over if he wasn't making fucking bank in Japan. Same deal with Dr. Death. Both were over but they were bigger in Japan and stuck around there because that's where the money was.

Anyone who thinks Dr. Death wasn't over in the states never appreciated the Williams/Gordy tag team.

seems like it was pulled out of your ass.

I did pull it out of my ass, I thought of it on the fly and refuted his argument.

Analogy stands unless refuted.

No he was not over, nobody in the real world/mainstream wrestling circles knows who Stan Hansen is. he’s only over in niche circles.

No it’s a verifiable and statistical fact that Stan Hansen is only popular with the niche and is irrelevant to mainstream wrestling audiences in the United States.

Anyone arguing otherwise is factually spreading fake news and disinformation.

"Niche circles".....you mean not Murica

Didn't know Japan wasn't "the real world".

“To the real world” is a metaphor.

And yes if it’s not mainstream in the United States(or North America in general if you want to argue), it’s niche in the United States , and therefore irrelevant to the United States audience, their success in any other part of the world is irrelevant to the United States/North American wrestling business.

It’s the same reason ROH, Impact, and AEW are irrelevant, they are niche and only relevant in niche circles, not in the “real workd

real world/mainstream wrestling circles = USA

Im guessing.

Yes, it was not made to be taken literal. the The term “to the real world” has never been literal, it’s a metap

If you think the mainstream is just America - then you're deluded.

It is irrelevant if Stan drew huge money in foreign countries, he isn’t a huge draw in the United States, he’s not mainstream in the United States, he’s therefore irrelevant and niche in the United States wrestling market, and there’s nothing you could do to change this fact.

Whether you troll, cry, scream or complain, Stan Hansen is not mainstream and not a huge draw in the United States wrestling market, he is niche.

If you think the mainstream is just America - then you're deluded.

Mainstream is in respective to specific markets.

Stan Hansen may be mainstream in Japan, but that’s irrelevant to the United States wrestling business, as he’s not a huge draw in the United States and is not mainstream in the United States wrestling market, he’s niche.

The 'United States Wrestling Business' stopped being solely just the US a quite a long time ago. The bigger promotions do not just focus on an American market.
