WWE.com can confirm that, following last's night historic match with Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker was immediately taken to Ochsner Medical Center. After a CT scan and other medical testing, he was diagnosed with a severe concussion and was kept overnight for further evaluation. He was discharged early Monday afternoon.
Stay with WWE.com for updates on The Phenom's condition.
With this new information, is it safe to say that the Undertaker pretty much has to retire? He can't work once a year without endangering his health.

I had heard that he had been hurt as well and think it happened during the match and that is why Brock won the match.

I really don't think the Undertaker called an audible after the concussion. The plan was always to put Lesnar over, there is no doubt in my mind.

I don't mind the the streak being broken just a thought that crossed my mind but like I said in the Raw ld last night after seeing everything from WM I am thinking they basically used this WM to help pass the torch in a sense and let the younger stars take over.

I haven't spoken to Mark in a few months. From what I gathered last time I spoke with him, he had not decided who to put over. HHH and company do take his opinion into consideration. I don't think Brock was supposed to win because of the reactions from Brock and Paul. I think Taker was supposed to kick out in the last F5. Both Paul and Brock registered genuine shock when the 3 count was made.

When have you known Brock Lesnar to have good acting skills in any event?

WM last year, his selling of the Kimura was incredible.

Honestly, anyone who doesn't think this was Takers decision and this wasn't an audible or last minute thing is in denial. The streaks done, get over it.

Regardless of whether you know him or not, why would he possibly tell you what goes on behind the scenes? I'm not even trying to stir anything up here because I believe your story about playing his kid's party and him finding your info later. That being said, I just can't fathom a guy like that telling some random dude inside information like that. I believe he may have had a "line" that he fed to anyone that asked him, but also that he would never have divulged the true info to anyone. Just doesn't make sense in the business or hold true to the character of a man who spent more than 20 years living his gimmick.

It's a good possibility, Fuji. And I'm not in denial Linebacker. I'm looking at other options. Regardless if this was his call, that concussion wasn't and you cannot deny the fact that the concussion could have played a part in a last minute decision fed to the ref. Yes the streak is over, but I have a feeling that it was a last minute decision after observing the match.

Yes, this was Taker's call.. if he made the call. And while I may know him, and speak with him often, if he fed me a line, thats fine by me. I have no issue with that. But my experience with working with the man on a number of projects after his son's party, it has led me to believe that he wasn't ready to hang up the streak. We really never directly spoke out its mechanics and choices made by him and/or WWE. He did however make it clear when we talked at one junction that he wasn't ready to leave WWE just yet.

Regardless if this is true or not, the Streak is over. That much is clear. Whether is was by choice or last call, none of us know.

I don't think a concussion would cause him to call the streak. If he's not going to wrestle for a year, a concussion shouldn't be enough to cause him to end his streak. It's not like he broke anything. It was probably always planned like this
