Stop giving people permission to run events when they've not proven they can contribute anything... and when they're gone for over a month past the starting date of whatever they're running, have someone from staff take over. There was a LOT of people who were signing up for the E-Fed and ready to go, and still would have participated had someone else stepped up and taken over.

I don't agree that forums where admins post make the forum any more active or worth posting in... generally it just leads to more bashing of the admin which leads to more bans which means less members which means less posts. But there are certain aspects of this forum which really don't stand out when they should, and certain aspects that do stand out that shouldn't. First of all, "News, Rumors, and Spoilers" should be a focal point of the site. Instead of having the Feeder for the Divas section, the feeder should be for News/Rumors.

It's a damn shame also (as Enzo alluded to) that anytime something is posted here on the forum, the general reaction is along the lines of "Nope, I hate him" or "This is just a guy the internet fans HAVE to keep relevant"... LOLWUT!?

I'd contribute with the Raw Review again if anyone actually gave a fuck. Instead, the Shoutbox handles all the Raw discussion, and Raw discussion threads go up and handle everything. It wouldn't hurt to KNOW someone else was willing to review TNA and SmackDown as well (I guarantee someone just thought to write "lol who the fuck wants to review TNA anyways tho?").

Shit, I know people tend to think Kaedon trolls, but there was actually a method to his madness... even if he was Blue in his ignorance, stuck in his ways, the guy still created lengthy discussion about shit we just simply don't ever discuss (no, not because it's like beating a dead horse). Axis was right when he said there's an identity clash from all angles. I don't know shit about games and mods creating fake accounts to fuck with people or whatever... but what I do know is that there aren't enough people (in charge) who put up with the actual discussion aspect of the forum around here when that's what the majority of anyone who sees "forum" wants.

I think I stated that if anybody wanted to take over the e-fed since Rated R disappeared, he could.

Sounds fine to me.

This would take a lot to explain. I think I discussed it with beer once. There is a reason if those who are in charge, are in charge. You can change the leadership, and I guarantee you, the forum would be more active. Mostly because people would start bashing the new leaders until they can't take it anymore and step down. Not sure how many would like that.

Didn't he say he had help secretly from 2-3 other members? Surely one of them could have and should have stepped up?

I'm not questioning who is in charge, or why they're in charge. I understand greatly how forum leadership works. I'm admin on another forum, and have been on staff of plenty of forums, lol, and I know it's REALLY not always the staff's fault, or anything that the staff could do differently. However, I feel that here, we tend to really bash people for having discussions and being on the opposite side of popular opinion. All I'm saying is that the goal of the staff should be to have the site active... and there should be nobody on the mod staff who dictates how much of the unpopular opinion is too much.

I think one of them was Montana, not sure about the rest. MizMasta seemed pretty interested if I recall correctly.

That's absolutely true. I've stated it multiple times.
Dunno what to do about it. I might try something later..

It doesn't really matter who's running the joint, there are many reasons this place isn't having big fun anymore. 1. Life goes on. People move on, and growing out of wrestling is just one of those things and wrestling is no where near as popular or as cool as it was in years past. Life is hectic and posting on wrestling boards isn't necessarily a priority/ Activity is stunted across the entire IWC. 2. The people that were easily harassed stopped coming to be harassed. No fun times for the gold ole boys. 3. What makes this place unique? Nothing except the personalities. Oftentimes that's not enough. In this place there isn't much diversity amongst people. You are here for friends, the wrestling discussion, a little of both, to whack off, or be chastised by the cool kids. Not too many fall between the cracks and the VIP and eFed sections are rotting carcasses.

People can try and pin it on the staff, I've been here for like three or four changing of the gaurds. Nothing has changed except the population has slimmed and the lack of solid discussion is still about the same. Most activity came from HIAT and Casual Talk-Entertainment type threads. Might as well tear the walls down and integrate the entire forum because to have a really solid wrestling forum, the admins have to be followers of the current products offered. Chaos is never around, TIO posts everywhere but wrestling threads, Monk is Monk. This Guy didn't have a huge presence in the wrestling sections when he was admin either. The only active admin in the wrestling sections to the best of my recollections was Rob. I don't really remember the Chuck Zombie-Mike Raw era as I was just a passer by at those times. Changing staff isn't going to do anything, you can welcome people with open arms (Pumpt and his crew) or you can treat everyone like LKPs and Weebos, you will stay face the same results; they'll leave. There isn't much that's gonna change that.

You're whining about a forum that is mostly full of young, immature kids and a forum that is dead, regardless.

Face it, a lot of people think wrestling is shit so they lost interest. This isn't the only dead wrestling forum, there are quite a few out there. Hardly anyone here puts much thought into their posts because they know nobody will care for it since there are only like 10 people who log on per day. You know this place is deader than dead when even HIAT barely has any new posts. This used to be one of, if not, THE, busiest section of the forum.

As for the staff, there are a number of fucking asswipes on staff who shouldn't be there. The staff are the ones who are suppose to 'set an example' and make sure people follow the rules, which some of them DO try to do at times, but they mostly don't (this is going back to when this place was a little more active and people got away with a lot of shit...OOPS, I MEAN CERTAIN PEOPLE DID WHILE CERTAIN OTHERS DIDN'T, MY BAD). If I were Mike, I would have gotten rid of the fucking idiots on staff who made alts (or apparently did, I don't know for sure, don't really care) and broke rules while telling other people to follow them.

On that note, I DO like the bit of freedom people have to speak their mind and not worry about being in trouble every two seconds for calling someone a smurf while making a point, but, jesus christ, when have we EVER had a staff team in which there was at least one person who wasn't a cunt? As long as I have been here, I don't think we ever had. Not all the staff if bad but, let's be real here.....most of them insult people just as much as any regular member yet they will tell a regular member to cut the shit.

Not saying that this should be a nazi forum because those are the worst kinds of forums, but if people see staff being assholes, they will be assholes, too. I am certainly not one of the best members ever and not a perfect example of what a great member should be, but I CAN BE, I just don't have the motivation to put the effort into making great posts when 99% of the forum consists of garbage posts with insults from both regular members and staff. I enjoy flames here and there, they are quite funny, but I do look on them as fucking pathetic and sad and I don't feel awesome stooping to that level. Thing is, it makes for conversation most of the time and is about the only thing that actually adds activity to the place.

I want to try to make great posts but thinking about putting effort into a discussion that will probably only have one or two people involved makes it feel not even worth it.

Just want to make it clear that I am not trying to pin all the bullshit on the staff but I mod another forum and we are a little more strict with the rules because we want to make sure we have a positive community and we get rid of the dumb fucks who try to start trouble BUT if a staff member happens to have a bad day or just doesn't know how to talk to someone properly, we see the results of that in other people. They see a mod do it so they think it is okay if they do it and it isn't, nor is it right for a mod to do it. It isn't right for a mod to enforce the rules yet break them themselves. It is like here. If people see mods act like assholes, they will do it, too. When new people come and see a forum full of 'THE MIZ IS A smurf', 'NO HE ISN'T', they are gonna up and leave before they even make a post.

Intelligent wrestling discussions are more attractive than stupid one liners, random pics, and flaming.
