Oh, and just because I can, here are the new post statistics from both 2009 and 2011. Most times there is at least 5x more activity on each day in 2009 than there has been in 2011. Gee, wonder what happened? (ego stroking)

What do the numbers from 2007 and 2008 look like?

Average of 800 per day in the first half of 2007, 350-400 in the last 4 months.
In 2008 from 500 to 700 then down to 300 in October.
We generally used to have increased activity since Jan-Feb and then a breakdown in Sep-Oct.

The bad forum skins and presence of advertisements are the main reasons for me preferring a free site. The loss of forum archives is honestly the only real negative I see.

It was the first day we started consistently having less than 100 posts (29 on that day). We managed to have 100-150 occasionally and 247 on 15 October. The average is 50 anyways.
