Once this round is over, I will start reviewing tonight after work. I will also release my "didn't make the cut" albums that I was surprised weren't chosen because I thought they really are top of the line albums start to finish. Sure, you can ask "well why didn't you choose them"? It was mainly just because I had a heavy list and the last half dozen albums were really albums I picked that I thought were great start to finish and top tier personal favorites. Also will probably put a few gems that I wish I could have chosen but just weren't, either a cut above the rest on my list or just truthfully not something I'm a fan of but know others are.

Album Listen #8: Not really sure how I feel about this album. I don't think the music is terrible - but I just feel any sort of connection to it either. Like wearing bowling shoes that are two sizes bigger. You can still throw the ball, but its just a bit uncomfortable. I can understand why people were connect with this album though - I am just unfortunately not one of those people. Money is the exception to the rule though and is a song I fucks with. I can imagine this would be a good accompaniment to some mind altering drugs, but that certainly isn't my domain.

also fwiw you really don't need drugs to enjoy that floyd record, it's a record about lots of themes that arent drugs. just so happens the drug culture loves it because it tends to gravitate to progressive rock always

then again really depends if you feel like reading lyrics and stuff, everyone enjoys music differently. I find the Floyd lyrics and theme fantastic but it's perfectly normal it goes over some people's heads
