Playoff Update - The Smartkers Tournament

Happy Gilmore: Welcome everyone back to the Smark Mini Golf League, as we see a number our active roster as well as a special guest take part fighting for the right to become the 2020 Smartker Winner. Our special mention goes to a player who had his first run with a putter this year and just like my first time - they struggled as Mitch would post a +27 as they move around the course. Although, this isn't the best course - the SMGL does cordially invite Mitch to join the SMGL in future events and tournaments.

Our highest two ranked players still in the competition also took part with Juice posting a +5, whilst the first person to reach the League Grand Final Raidokken posted a monster -13 and continues to prove to everyone why they are the player to be most fearful this year. They currently have 1/3 odds to win the entire SMGL 2020 as this favourite has only fallen short once this year.

Of course though are main focus in this round was the Elimination Semi-Final.

Happy Gilmore: Shania Twain who hadn't won a single game in the league earned their way into the match by their opponent dropping out, and has yet to win an actual game. Whilst, Christian who entered the tournament as the #1 seed advanced after his opponent Hollywood resigned halfway through his first round conceding he wouldn't be able to match his opponent's score. Both entrants know - that a loss today is a straight elimination, whilst a win advances them to face Juice in the Elimination Final. Christian would score a tidy +16, which was far from his best performance and would suffer for it as Shania Twain would post their best score of the tournament and there first under par as they posted -4 to claim the victory and advance to next round of the playoffs.

Happy Gilmore: Shania Twain can be very happy to have completely turned around their season and find themselves in an impossible position of never winning a regular season game, but now be just win away from the League Grand Final. However, their score of four under par isn't enough to win the Smarkters which was claimed by Raidokken with a score of -13 for the round. They become the inaugural winner of Smarkters and become the first member of what we hope will be an elite club and win themselves first golden jacket.

Happy Gilmore: We are now just one match away from the League Grand Final - with the winner set to face our regular season winner Raidokken in the final at 'The Super Mario Classic''.
