Like, if The Sims development team wanted more bang for their buck, they need to quit giving quality of life DLC peacemeal and just spend a year developing giant DLC packs and release them out.

But hey, if @Frankensteiner is interested in a similar game, he should definitely check out Paralives or Life By You (developed by Paradox, so you know it gonna be complex as hell), if he hasn't yet.

I'm sure they are too, but it does open up a lot of negative connotations for the game, sadly.

Yea, of course... but why would they care? As long as the gamers throw the money at them, they'll continue the cycle.

So anyways, I built this here quickly in just under 6 hours. It's on a lot called "Garden Essence", and I think it fits the idea of a garden manor very well.
