I do think though that the nameplate was to much. They were aiming for it to be like a street promo which is why they used a handheld camera, or used poor quality. There was no need for that really.

Wow, umm... I know this is slightly off topic but that "low-quality vlog/shitty connection" effect was not edited well at all. I personally love the effect (when it's done right). It makes you feel like you're watching some secret video that you're not suppose to be watching and in some cases, try to make you really scared about what's happening.

Whoever edited it might have had any experience with that effect. Sorry, it's just that I had media class before and one of the skills we learned was film and a lot of the edits in this video did not make sense at all.

Back on topic, the idea of the video was very epic and fits The Shield's persona very well. I just hope the editing has more finesse in the future.

The edit doesn't bother me at all, I loved everything about it. Returning to this thread just to watch Ambrose flourish again. This SHOULD have been on RAW.

Saw it and it looks like they're ripping off the old NWO promos with the crappy style. It was alright, nothing to really go crazy about

The Shield's promo was very impressive, especially Ambrose. It reminded me of the scene in The Dark Knight where The Joker is on live TV with a fake Batman as prisoner. Ambrose in particular showed that intensity and touch of insanity. The editing also helped a lot. Shaky cam footage isn't always well executed, but in this case it was.

I think we'll see it on Raw soon. They normally test new stuff on SD before they put it on Raw.
