The longer it goes the more Ukrainians can entrench themselves and strategize more asymmetrical and guerilla tactics against the Russians. Not to mention the citizens are armed to the teeth and will actively attempt to disrupt Russian activities.

Yeah, basically the logic is killing Zelensky not only renders Putin's points moot, but it would also delegitimize everything Putin had been trying to propagandize with his people. Zelensky's assassination would be a win for Ukraine, no matter how you slice it. It would embolden the people to rise up further, and it would be seen as an international crime.

To think... you could watch the sunrise on the beautiful city of Kyiv here, but to know that it will soon be a major battlefield... it's horrifying. One of the most culturally significant and gorgeous cities in Eastern Europe is soon to suffer destruction and death.

Damn Putin. But Kyiv will not fall. Not today. They will rebuild, they will become reborn in the ashes of this war.
