I'd vote for a ban on cigarettes. If people are that desperate to die they don't need to keep smoking trying to get lung cancer, just tell me you want to die and I'll happily solve your problem...

The only thing I'd say which is an issue: See the video I posted about prohibition. By outlawing it, you can no longer regulate it. Therefore legal age, warning labels on packaging, having it sold in select locations, all gone. It then would create a black market (which probably already exists, but expands it) for cigarettes where we can't regulate it and even worse terrible shit can be put in it without regulation around it. At least with it legal we get tax revenue from it to put into programs like addiction services, and healthcare for when people get sick from it.

The best answer, regardless, comes down to education and continued regulation to naturally have it fade out. We made a fair bit of progress on that until e-cigarettes and vaping became a thing.
