The Rock Reveals His Original Plans for WrestleMania XXX, When Might He Return?

The Rock did another #RockTalk chat on Twitter this afternoon. A fan asked him if he would be returning for WrestleMania XXX. Rock says he, Vince McMahon and Brock Lesnar had plans for a Rock vs. Brock match in 2014 but that won't be happening. Rock added that there's a chance he will return for WrestleMania 31.

Rock tweeted:

"Between Vince, Brock & myself our Wrestlemania 30 plan was ROCK vs BROCK. No plans now for 30 but possibly WM 31. #RockTalk"

Not gonna lie, would have loved to have seen this and it would have been fucking huge.

Didn't really enjoy their feud years ago so I don't know if I would have in 2014 but still would have been pretty intriguing. Interesting that he confirmed that was the plan though.

I too would have liked to have seen Brock/Rock @ WM 30. Maybe it'll happen at WM 31...

31 seems even more likely now that the fast 7 filing and promotion has been announced around mani-summer.

I don't mind 31 at all, sad to not see rock at mania in person for obvious reasons but as long as he ain't writing off a ring return I'm happy (Dave softened the blow too)

Still of the opinion that they should be using these guys to help get over new talent. Worst part of the Heyman stable was the absence of Brock

That's not good business. The likes of Brock shouldn't be associated with Ryback and Axle short of beating both their asses. They are an albatross to him IMO.

LOL @ Brock rolling with losers, kind of like Edge and his Edgeheads, yeah, being patsies really helped the careers of Curtis Hawkins and Zack Ryder.

I also laugh at the notion that major stars whould be putting over guys not in their league, like Billy Kidman beating Hulk Hogan all of a sudden gave Kidman this star aura.

Certainly there is someone on the roster that could be associated with Brock and benefit from it? To me the better Mania match is and hopefully will be Brock Orton.


I was just stating that having a stable and then pretending Brock didn't exist anymore was dumb.

Rock signed a deal with WB/DC to be starring in one of their DC movies. Maybe Black Adam still lives...

We all know the why. He fucked up last year and got hurt this he messed up his promotional work for Pain and Gain, and he set the Hercules filming back.

Fast 7 is also going to finish their filming in the spring and Hercules needs to be promoted

Yeah it's not the DC stuff as he's just in negotiations for that so whatever that is probably won't start filming for another 6 months. Though he could host. Honestly think it may be a red herring.
