I would love to see everyone's scores just for curiosity sake. I'll also add some specific observations for everyone's albums.
@Chris - knew what to expect here, you definitely would have ran away with it for me if not for the Radiohead, Beatles and Joy Division picks which hypothetically could have been a hit for me, but in reality they just really bored me at the time when I listened to them, so that's just how that went. 3 out of my 4 top rated albums came from you though, which is wild.
@Mitch Buchannon - despite being DQ'd, I had Mitch 4th in my rankings. It was a good eclectic mix of albums, about half that I knew and half I didn't. The 80s albums and Dr. Dre were the duds for me here, but we had plenty of hits, and I particularly loved Tapestry by Carole King as one of my favorite albums I was introduced to through this.
@Crocker - filled by British quota for the year with your picks, another bunch of hits and misses mixed throughout. I was most fond of the Britpop and punk choices, and surprisingly didn't love the Van Morrison album, despite my expectation.
@Comrade Khan - you won in my rankings due to choosing no duds. Unsurprisingly so, I could have probably predicted before listening to all these albums that I would have had you at the top. The only variable really was the punk albums, which I ended up loving, so you just skated to victory on that one.
@Wang Chung - we were on different wavelengths musically on this venture and that's reflected in both of our scores for each other

Again, I think I could have predicted you'd be my low choice before listening to the album due to the heavy involvement of 80s and early 90s alternative vibes, that just generally aren't my vibe. I really enjoyed Graceland for some reason though, and the Tracy Chapman album was also a great choice.
@Professor Booty - you had an eclectic mix as well and dabbled in a lot of genres, taking a few risks that didn't pay off for me in the end. Again, with the several 80s choices, that already put you behind the 8ball for me, but I think there was potential for De La and Beasties to bolster your score, they just didn't land for me either unfortunately. Still had a couple of my favorite overall albums in the mix though, and this was my first time listening to Rumours in full so that's a nice bonus. I deadass didn't even realize Don't Stop was a Fleetwood Mac song.
@Brett - you had a strong shot at first place but unlike Jean, there was just a couple of albums that betrayed you in my rankings. And I can also say that you had the right idea with a few picks, that just slightly missed the mark for me. For example, Master of Puppets is an album I enjoy, but had you gone with Ride The Lightning or And Justice For All, they would have gotten higher marks. I'm not a big fan of Em, I think you chose perhaps his best album, but you certainly could have chosen many rap albums that I would have graded much higher. Let the record show, however, that I really enjoyed the Twin Peaks soundtrack.
@O-Blaze - my feelings towards your list are pretty mixed. I could tell by the pop leanings of it that it wasn't gonna be my favorite. But, it was my first time listening to Thriller in full, and I was very surprised by just how much I liked it. I was pleasantly surprised by the Soccer Mommy pick, as I am a fan of them. And also props for sticking to your guns and choosing the Toby Keith album, which wasn't half bad.
@Just Juice - Much respect for the most obscure choices, most of which I personally enjoyed a good bit. Deathwestern was an album I listened to once before and didn't think much of, but running it back here, I thought it was great. Echo Park by Feeder was a sleeper hit and I think my favorite of all the Britpop picks. Really appreciated the emo/alt/ metal leanings you included, the main thing that held you back in my rankings was the electronic leaning albums (which I liked, just not to the extent of many of the other albums in this thing) and likely a lack of a real "crown jewel" high 90s caliber album to give you the extra umph.
