But in certain circumstances that's ok. Plus given the right wrestlers, they can tell us everything they need in the match.

This one is basically they've fought around the world, won numerous titles and finally face off for the WWE title. Done.

Well Nakamura definitely has a lot of background and context. The story of the two best in the world fighting for the most prestigious title in the world at the biggest show in the world. (I'm not Jeremy Clarkson btw) Is a simple but good story.

This is the same with Asuka v Charlotte. But at a far less extent

I was...I was a big fan...until she walked into RAW, took the top
heel spot which should have been Sasha's & then continued to
be pushed way to far, way to fast.

Plus her wrestling abilities haven't visibly improved in my opinion..
so No...I'm not a fan of Bliss anymore are her time as RAW women's
Champion has done nothing positive for the division as a whole.

The only person who has looked good during Alexa's time with the
title is Alexa herself.

Charlotte v Asuka should be 20 minutes of sexy wrestling. Potentially the best woman's mania match ever.

Speaking of storylines.... Asuka v Flair....It hasn't got one

It doesn't need one...and apparently Asuka going to be on RAW till
Wrestlemania anyway...so...it won't have one I guess.

Yeah they both have been booked as the two biggest stars. Too bad both of them are faces, which means they have to compliment each other. Why don't they just make out already?

Because Charlotte belongs with Becky RB...everyone knows that.

I think this match doesn't need any of that.

Its (possibly) the Biggest match in the history of Women's wrestling...
I think its above mind games & standard WWE feud writing.

Now if there will be rematch at Backlash with Asuka actually part
of the SmackDown roster...then perhaps they can write some kind
of standard feud...with either Asuka or Charlotte turning heel...or
at least showing heel tendencies.

But for Wrestlemania...none of that is needed.

Its Charlotte vs. Asuka...1 on 1...A dream match. That's all it needs to be.

Asuka character should be consistent. Its about the empress v the queen there has to be some tension and intimidation. Otherwise it feels like they don't care that much.

Why not have Charlotte be worried but pretend not to be (show some character for once) and Asuka can continue to be aggressive and do mind games.

Well...perhaps if the WWE had let Asuka challenge Charlotte earlier...
and then moved her to SmackDown they could developed the feud
more intensely.

Its basically a cross brand match between 2 Face Alpha Females...
its a very weird situation in general really.

It reminds me of Hogan/Warrior at Wrestlemania VI...

Its clear the WWE want to keep both Charlotte & Asuka as faces
going into this match or else one of them would have attacked the
other at Fastlane or SmackDown.

be intimidated by the other...I mean...like I said...they are
both Alpha females...neither is going to back down & there
is respect there...and I kind of like that.

It makes a nice change from Alexa Bliss making all of her
opponents look like fucking idiots.

I'm more curious to see how far they will actually push each
other. I mean its a landmark match & moment for women's
wrestling...so I'm curious to see how far both women are willing
to go.

How "stiff" will they work?
What kind of pace will they wrestle at?
Will Charlotte take a page out of her fathers play book & blade?

All I want is the best match possible...& hopefully Charlotte &
Asuka can deliver that on the biggest stage of all.

As for a swerve...I can see Carmella cashing in to add drama. I wouldn't have her win but it would really put you on the edge of your seat. If you weren't already.

God I hope you're wrong...the idea of Carmella being involved
and possibly being the one to be pinned/submitted in the match
would be fucking awful for 2 main reasons.

1). A complete waste of the MitB contract...
&
2). If Charlotte or Asuka defeat Carmella in the match...it will
be hollow victory...much like how Carmella won the fucking
briefcase in the first place.

Man...if only Becky had won the MitB...imagine the tension
you could build between Charlotte & Becky if she had that
briefcase.

Have Carmella cash in during Alexa vs. Nia...that match will
need a shot of excitement knowing how Polly Pocket & Nia
work a match.

Last time I checked Carmella's MITB is only for Smackdown. Plus Alexa and Nia have a story that should have an definitive babyface ending at Mania. The outcast beating up the bully. Even though Nia is far from being a outcast.

I'm one of the few that think asuka is not winning at mania because if you wanted to book a believable defeat then at the grandest stage against an equal would be much better than at say battleground against Carmella.

I mean I love her ring gear but no. Just, no.

Yeah I kinda have a feeling that's what's going to happen and I know I'm in the minority but its honestly one of the two matches where I'd be down with either wrestler taking the win. The other being Aj vs Nak.

Well...every cell in my body is telling me both Asuka & Nakamura
are going over...and frankly...I'd be confused as all hell if they didn't.

I mean perhaps they will have Styles retain & go for round 2 at
Backlash...but the idea of Charlotte breaking Asuka's streak makes
me feel ill.

She is the one woman who should NOT break the streak.

just because of the way the story has played out so far. Alexa has held on to the title for months now she has to get her commupance at Mania. Nia is the one to do it. Especially after Alexa attempting to manipulate and destroy Nia's self esteem so she can continue to be her 'Deisel'. It would be strange for Nia to fail. But hey it may happen.

You may not like Alexa, but her character and the stuff she has done is pretty dispicable. I think she is one of the best heels in WWE, im into seeing Nia squash her at Mania.
