I was about to say that makes no sense. But then again SDL could give Raw Carmella for Asuka. At the moment Asuka is still a Raw superstar. Raw isn't just going to give SDL Asuka for nothing.

I wouldn't have Carmella cash in successfuly, until she has a good character. I don't like it when they put the title on someone who has very little heat, and then try to get them over afterwards. Devalues the title for me.

True...but if I had to guess...they'll swap Asuka for Natalya...
mainly because of her connection to Ronda Rousey & I'm
guessing Ronda's first "proper" feud maybe against Nattie.

Look...even if Carmella cashes in, wins the title, shows up
on RAW the next night & then they book a triple threat match
having Nia go over against Carmella & Alexa to win the title...
I'd be fine with that.

Carmella has been treated incredibly poorly by the creative
team & I personally believe she has basically been given the
role & booking Eva Marie was going to have in the division
since Summerslam 2016.

Think about it...

The feud with Nikki Bella, being teamed with Ellsworth, winning
the MitB briefcase the way she did, teaming up with Nattie &
Tamina, the terrible win/loss record...it all reeks of the type of
booking Eva Marie would have been given...only Eva Marie
could actually generate a reaction from the audience...and
unlike Roman Reigns...she was actually meant to be hated.

A successful cash in would allow Carmella to at least move to
RAW & possibly open her up to some fresh booking ideas.

Perhaps she could become involved in the Sasha/Bayley feud?
Perhaps she could side with Absolution?

Just anything else would be an improvement over her treatment
on SmackDown.

Or maybe she's just meant to be the female version of Curt Hawkins?

I think Carmella cashing in on Charlotte/Asuka would make no sense...
especially considering she'd have a much better chance during the
Alexa vs. Nia match.

Considering all three of those women are on Total Divas...it would
make more sense from a storytelling perspective...but I'm not sure
if Carmella can cash in on the RAW women's belt.

I know if I was booking Wrestlemania...

Asuka wins the blue belt & moves to SmackDown...
Carmella cashes in during Alexa vs. Nia, wins the red belt & moves to RAW...
Becky Lynch wins the Battle Royal...
&
Sasha goes over Bayley...
