also have you seen 'Motor city madness 2007"? (if not, don't get the show.. It's pby one of roh lackluster shows for 2007)

Not only did i buy the dvd, i was there front and center to watch this. I def. wouldn't say its a show thats worth buying. Definetly skippable, but at the same time it wasn't a bad show. For the most part quite entertaining. I loved Generico vs Marifuji. I thought that was probably the most underrated matches of 07. Then a lot of 3-3.5 star matches. I think Stevens and Morishima also was kinda underrated. Stevens was born that night so to speak. Just a lot solid stuff. Kinda surprised you picked this show out. I could probably name about 5 shows i think are worse than this. But yeah.

i'd say marufuji/generico was ***1/2, good outing, erick/takeshi for 10 min match it did *** and showed how much potential for erick stevens..

I felt Evans/romero was sloppy at times but **1/2.. I didn't like the Jacobs/hero match that was pretty gorrible stuff for 17 mins, that i have ever seen from them,,,

I just felt the show had too much filler and squash matches.. The main event was just meh, didnt like it.. I don't mind briscoes and aries/cross doing all these great moves, but doing all these awesome moves doin't generally work a great match, i felt the matches lacks depth of getting crowd involved, psychology....

but i have been watching a couple good shows, I will List them for you:

A fight at the roxbury 2007 - Nothing ****-*****, But everything generally ***-***1/2 except for 2 matches

Live in tokyo - Great show, Danielson/Go shiozaki is **** IMO, But everything else is quite good except for a 2 jap youth dudes wrestling(i can't blame them for trying), Rave Vs Whitmer

Live In osaka - decent show, Not better than LI.Tokyo

dedicated 2007 - decent show, not too high to speak on.. But the Homicide Vs Hero roh title match is very dissappointing just like homicide reign, The Main event briscoes vs rs/aaries is **1/2, Plus eddie edwards shows off a decent **1/2 outing with evans (not better than Live in osaka tho).

M.Mayhem 2 - Great show, But if it wasnt for Danielson/takeshi and briscoes/steen/generico, the show could of went either way...

Race to the top N/1 - Meh show, Main event Briscoes vs Nigel/danielson ****, rest hardly reach **1/2 sometimes, (sydal/quack ***)

Nite 2 - This would be the Night you would want, Better show, Team Danielson Vs Team nigel is **** along with Claudio Vs Generico... (this show really shows you how good el generico can be)

Caged Rage 2007 - Good Show, the 1st 3 matches are meh, but the show gets better.. The 3 way roh c'ship match is **** imo

at the moment i am watching "good times great memories" and then will be watching No mercy 2008 in which i have told to be WWE 2008 Best Non Mania PPV...

what show do you think Nigel will lose title??? who?
(im prediction Final Battle 2008.... Just common sense.. 2004 final battle Aries dethroned Joe, 2006 Final Battle Homicide dethroned Danielson, 2008 Final Battle)

(i am unsure on who as not really keeping update to 2008, But i predict either Roderick Strong or chris Hero)

Is Suicide a good idea?

His debut was nothing short of awesome, even if the zip-line should never be brought since Owen. He even gave himself a moveset, and do you believe it's Kaz? (Hint: It is)

Ehh, Suicide could be a great thing, if TNA has a concrete plan for him. The problem I see, is that they dont have a plan for him, and they are playing it all by ear. There was no need for Kaz to have a gimmick change. Suicide looked a shade shorter than kaz, and a little taller than low ki. Christopher Daniels would be a good fit here too. But as far as i think, its still Kaz. Now they could change it, somewhere down the line too.

I didnt think it was as great of a debut as you did. I really like shelly, and it was a good segment, just not great. Mostly because there was no reasoning behind the attacks. Just kinda random. I wasn't digging the rock music for him either. But all in all, This could be really good, or really bad, depending how tna works this.

but i have been watching a couple good shows, I will List them for you:

I thought Manhattan Mayhem 2 was one of the best of 07. Roxbury and Cage Rage were good show. Didnt like Live from Osaka as much. It was ok. I've only seen a few matches from live in toyoko. Same for Race to the top.

Well, Nigel has a title defense set for Final Battle 08 already and its someone he's faced before at Final Battle. (not to spoil it too much) I think he's going to retain at FB and lose it at the first ppv of 09 OR 7th anniversary show. As to who? Its a tough call. I'd choose Roddy, if i was a booker. But if i was a betting man, I'd say TYler Black, even though i think theres a good 5
guys i'd pick before him.

Does Go Shiosaki have superstar potential?

Nah, i guess it depends on what you mean by superstar. He doesnt really bring anything special to the table. He's very good, just very plain. I think to be sucessful in america you have to standout, and Go doesnt really do that. In Japan, it could be another story.

Tyler Black or Larry Sweeney? Who's had the better year?

Kinda tough to compare a wrestler to a manager, but i'd say Tyler Black. He surprisingly main evented the first four ROH ppv's this year, and faced Samoa Joe on the 5th (non-ppv match) The only thing holding tyler black back at this point, is the fact he's not really over much with the fans. Sweeney on the hand, is very over. The problem is, Sweet n Sour Inc is merely floating around ROH. Chris Hero is not a serious threat to the ROH belt, and thats a problem. Sweet and Sour also has members coming and going, so he's hard to really rate the stable high at the moment. A lot of low end talent as well.

So if you like wrestling, Tyler Black has had the better year. From a entertainment standpoint, no one tops Larry Sweeney.

1. Rhett Titus - Who will sign him first? WWE or TNA?
2. Is ROH still the breeding grounds for TNA? Reason why I say still is: AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Homocide, Jimmy Rave etc.
3. Pelle Primue or however you spell his name. How much do you know about him? Yay or nay on him as it pertains to a good future in wrestling?
4. Wrestlers wrestling the japanese style in America... Really fucking lame or acceptable?

1. Rhett Titus - Who will sign him first? WWE or TNA?

i think he's still a ways off. He just starting wrestling a few years ago. He's just now making it onto ROH shows as a regular. So i guess whomever wants him really. I'd guess TNA would consider him, but wwe has been more active with ROH guys. So its a toss up.

2. Is ROH still the breeding grounds for TNA? Reason why I say still is: AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Homocide, Jimmy Rave etc.

No, TNA just sucked up their talent, due to having more money and a tv deal. ROH and TNA are still on good terms, however TNA has only got one wrestler in the past 2-3 years. The wwe on the other hand has brought in 4-5 in with development deals.

3. Pelle Primue or however you spell his name. How much do you know about him? Yay or nay on him as it pertains to a good future in wrestling?

Pelle retired earlier this year after a injury. I thought he was almost for a student. He a good underdog feel to him. But i didnt think he had much a future, he's just too small.

4. Wrestlers wrestling the japanese style in America... Really fucking lame or acceptable?

Its more than accepetable. I think it would be a nice change of pace. Those japanese guys really put on entertaining matches. I just saw a guy by the name of Tajari Ishimori yesterday....he's pretty bad ass. It's all a matter of opinion i guess, but their workrate is a lot higher.

Off-Topic Questions

Let's stick with wrestling. Not everyone likes or cares about hiphop. PM those questions next time.

Q1. Expectations for hip-hop in 2009?

Dre and Eminem, thats about it. I'm not really sure who else is dropping. I think Jayz might come with something good too. Hip Hop is kinda in the down swing, so i really don't see them coming out of it. I think Flo rida could drop some more heat in 09 too.

Q2. Who do you think is the most underrated mainstream rapper in music currently?

Hmm, I just woke up, and not thinking clearly. I've always liked 8ball.

Q3. What are your thoughts on Charles Hamilton's new mixtape "The Pink Lavalamp"

Haven't heard it, I mostly stick with officail albums. I dont have time to listen to everything. However If i hear good things about some mixtapes ill check it out. Liek Cham's mixtape 4 and wayne's new one. But normally i doubt.

Q4. Did you hear that "Press The Start Button" by Ludacris yet?

Yeah, i like it. Good track

Q5. Thoughts on Common's "Universal Mind Control album?

Ehh, no where near his last two albums. UMC was a tight track, but the rest is average at best.

Q6. What's the song that you can't get out of your head currently?

I actually don't have any stuck in my head. I really like ARAB money, and especially the remix. TI and Usher has been getting some play. Florida and Akon too.

Q7. How many more years do you give Busta Rhymes before he gives up the mic?

6 maybe??

Q8. Thoughts on Lupe Fiasco's status/contributions to hip-hop?

Two solid albums. I don't think he's going down in history after after those two. But none the less good albums.

Q9. Who do you think is the most overrated music producer in the hip-hop currently?

damn, i really can't say. I guess i would say Mr. Porter from D12. Kinda odd going against my hometown guy, but i don't think he's got that good of beats.

Q10. Do you mosh at house parties/music concerts?

Nooo, Im old. No one my age (26) invites me to good house parties anymore. I go to the bar for the most part. 2-3 good parties a year. (Life gets worse peoples)

Q11. Are you big into fashion/clothes/sneakers and whatnot?

Aaa kinda. I guess im kinda half and half on my fashion. Half Preppy, half laid back hoody and jeans. My favorite store is express, so i got lots of T's and other stuff they sell. For hoodies, and stuff its whatever.

Who's wrestlers do you enjoy watching more, Dragon Gate or NOAH?

Which company will have more success, Chikara or PWG?

Will we ever see a Hell in a Cell match that has people fighting on the top again?

I'll say Noah. Dragon Gate delivers the fun spotfest, but Noah seems to generally have bigger names, better matches, which in the end, means a better product. Noah seems to generally be more of the strong style, where as Dragon Gate is more face paced action. I generally like a mix of both, but if it was one of the other, i think Noah does a better job.

Which company will have more success, Chikara or PWG?

Thats really tough to say. PWG is the bigger company, but Chikara is the more popular. I dont really see much growth with either company in the near future. I'm glad Chikara is starting to branch out a bit, but PWG seems like stay for the west coast. So I guess I'll say PWG, as they've already had some good history.

Will we ever see a Hell in a Cell match that has people fighting on the top again?

I wouldn't be too suprised. They certainly whored it out at first, and i doubt anyone will be flying off, but I think we could see somone like a Jeff Hardy go up top. Who knows when it will happen though.

i just finished watching undeniable 2007... Have you seen it?

Yep, I just got it in the mail about 2 weeks ago. So i seen it recently. Solid PPV outting i thought. The Title match could have been a little better. Other than that, the ppv flowed nicely and was entertaining all the way through. Aries vs Strong another great matchup. The show may have not been the best ppv, but the bonus matches were probably the best. The bonus matches were ppv worthy imo. For 10$ pretty solid dvd.

i liked Aries/strong, that was **** for me.. briscoes/NRC was a nice ***1/2 outing along with the ROH title match but i agree i felt it went a tad too short.. (it went for 13:54)..

The opener was decent for it time, Shimmer match i was a tad dissappointed, Danielson/Hero was dissappointting to me(i like Chris hero, But his in-ring performance for 2007 hasn't been all that great, But his Character/Promos and charsmia has been A+....)..

The Bonus Matches were good nothing wrong about them..(maybe they should of switch one of these with the Shimmer match for the PPV card)

A decent PPV but no ROH best... But better than some of 2007 pro wrestling PPV shows....

would you like to see elijah Burke in ROH???

(i sure do, I feel this man has more to show on his in-ring ability and roh could vastly improve that, while His mic skills are really good and ROH needs someone that can speak out to public and get the feeling from them, Inorder to gain more viewers).. I wouldnt give him the ROH title, But i would certainly build him as a #1 contender...I also think working in a bit stiffer moves company would work well with him since he is a former amatuer fighter...

My problem with the show it ended around 1hour 55mins...
