It seems like every six months I am writing a thread like this. From my reckoning The Pope hasn't been on television for three months. Dixie Carter talks about pushing young, fresh talent yet someone as talented as this continues to sit on the sidelines without any storyline. His last storyline was terrible involving Devon and Devon's kids where at first they turned on their father and then they turned on Dinero to help their father. I never understood why WWE released him in the first place and I don't know why TNA don't push this guy.

Because his last storyline was against Devon I would bring him back in to face Devon for the Television title and win it in his first attempt. The Pope can defend the title often, put on quality matches and be over with the crowd. I would actually turn him face again because I think that he works that role well with this gimmick.

Would you bring him back to television and if so how would you re-introduce him?

Note: Found the image on The Pope's twitter feed and I thought that it was fitting.

I really wish companies would use their talent correctly. But that is never the case.

I would definitely bring Pope back, and either have him challenge for the TV title, or at least give him a major feud with a top heel, as I only truly liked him as a face.

Personally, I wouldn't bring him back to WWE nor TNA, both have proven they don't have anything or want to use him.

I'd put him in ROH or some Independant promotion such as PWG. I believe he'd do quite well there.

Problem with ROH or PWG is he won't be able to make as much money working for them compared to the top two companies. Plus I think that he has shown in both companies that he is talented enough and that he should be on national television. It is a waste that neither company has used him correctly but there is still time.

Still time, but it's what's best for him.

Personally if I was Dinero, I'd go to Indies, regardless of how much money they pay. I'd do it for something I truly love and enjoy, beats sitting around doing nothing that's for sure.

I doubt TNA would use him properly, they did the same with Kendrick

When you fall off in TNA good luck getting back on track because I've never seen a company so inconsistent with how they book people. You can be on T.V one week gone for a month and then randomly turned heel or face. I'm sure Pope will be released before the year is up at this rate.

I wasn't ever that big of a fan of him to be honest, but he does have talent, and it is ridiculous how little they've pushed him after his original one in 2010.

You can't just build someone up like TNA did and then just drop him immediately and just drop the ball on them. Seriously he went from being of the hottest things in the company after doing great with his massive push just to fall to obscurity. Yeah, where the hell has he been? Jesus, man.

If the guy learned how to do more than one promo, than maybe I'd care about seeing him on TV.

But I guess he needs a face rest since that Blue storyline between him and Devon and kids.

The character is amazing, was great as a face. I think he had a good chance of being THE face of a company. Shame.

I agree with this. When he was brought in, I thought he had the potential to be the top guy in the company. I remembered when he challenged AJ for the belt at Lockdown and after he lost, he never really recovered.

Flopping between face and heel didn't help, because as its been mentioned, the character doesn't have any traction as a heel.

I still have hope for him because as a wrestling character, hes one of my favorites in the business, but a mainstream World Championship may be out of reach

I'm glad he's nowhere to be found, I don't want anymore reminders of that travesty of a feud he had with Devon.

I'd prefer him to be the TV champ instead of D'von. But I don't see that happening ever. He seems to be lost in the shuffle again, as he hasn't been on TV in months. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he were to be released sometime soon. He came into TNA and got pushed quite well, but for the past year or so his career in TNA has been on a nosedive.
