I’m not giving sites I view for free my identification. I understand with sites where you’re gonna actually pay to use the service you should verify their identity. Get the credit card information. Get an ID all that good stuff like with only fans or what have you but like if I’m viewing something for free I’m not giving a website that is running like numerous malicious ads and what not a way to track my identity so you could sell it to weirdos on the third-party market.

I think a lot changed their mind but originally sites were protesting and not even allowing ID Verification, just ending service in the states that requires it bc "we don't want your IDs"

Exactly. I feel like if you give out your ID, the more scams you get.

Trump says he is cutting off trade talks with Canada

Canada had been hoping to secure a trade deal with the US next month to avoid steep tariffs.

US President Donald Trump has said he is cutting off trade talks with Canada "immediately" as the country looks to start enforcing a tax policy targeting big tech companies.

The latest move, which he announced on social media, comes as the neighbouring nations had been working to agree a trade deal by mid-July.

Both countries have imposed tariffs on each other's goods after Trump sparked a trade war earlier this year and threatened to annex Canada using "economic force".

On Friday, the US president said he was ending talks due to what he called an "egregious tax" on tech companies and added he would announce new tariffs on goods crossing the border within the next week.
