I’m not giving sites I view for free my identification. I understand with sites where you’re gonna actually pay to use the service you should verify their identity. Get the credit card information. Get an ID all that good stuff like with only fans or what have you but like if I’m viewing something for free I’m not giving a website that is running like numerous malicious ads and what not a way to track my identity so you could sell it to weirdos on the third-party market.

I think a lot changed their mind but originally sites were protesting and not even allowing ID Verification, just ending service in the states that requires it bc "we don't want your IDs"

Canada had been hoping to secure a trade deal with the US next month to avoid steep tariffs.

US President Donald Trump has said he is cutting off trade talks with Canada "immediately" as the country looks to start enforcing a tax policy targeting big tech companies.

The latest move, which he announced on social media, comes as the neighbouring nations had been working to agree a trade deal by mid-July.

Both countries have imposed tariffs on each other's goods after Trump sparked a trade war earlier this year and threatened to annex Canada using "economic force".

On Friday, the US president said he was ending talks due to what he called an "egregious tax" on tech companies and added he would announce new tariffs on goods crossing the border within the next week.

It's funny really... since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine AND the Israeli genocide in Gaza I've heard people trying to argue that it's only the darn politicians, who want those aggressions and the population doesn't... and yet, I've not seen such an amount of defiance in either of those two cases, with possible dangerous consequences from their government right in their face.

And just to be clear... yes, there were protests in Russia and Israel. This is just about the amount of shown resistance and in that case, this speaks volumes.

Same with food stamps. My family needs food stamps and Medicaid. I don't like that. The only thing I agree with is increased spending on ICE. I don't agree with everything in the bill. If I gave it a name, it would be A huge mistake of a Bill.

There is nothing good about this bill, please don’t try to put a positive spin on it when there isn’t one. ICE doesn’t need that increased spending, they need to be abolished.

Even the things I don't hate about it like no tax on overtime are temporary too where the tax breaks for high income people are made permanent, it's such a scam
