I think you miss the idea that removing an income tax is a fucking horrible idea for raising income for the federal government. Tariffs are just a much, much worse and more volatile version of an income tax that we the people will end up paying for rather than what Trump thinks foreign companies will.

I just don't know how anyone can read that and think it's a good idea, you know?
