He's always been very anti-Trump tbf, he's been cutting promos on the guy since 2016

Corny is weird because he's extremely conservative when it comes to wrestling booking but he's very liberal politically.

He's anti-gun, pro-animal rights, pro-women's rights, etc.

I've never found it hard to reconcile myself. He's a very opinionated man and became very opinionated in politics as a liberal just as he was with what he thought was "proper wrestling." He's not always reasonable with his political beliefs either necessarily even if they tend to be "my side"

Oh I don't think it's that contradictory either. Even him being anti-gun isn't incongruous with the stories he tells about having to own a gun for his own safety in the 80s.

Everything racist I've heard him say in the past has always been the general stereotype stuff too, not exactly anything he would say needs to be policed politically, he doesn't call for increased border security or anything he's just gonna make tamale jokes if a Mexican wrestler is on screen

Yeah I'm not defending them at all before anyone acts like I am, his comments about Oba Femi's accent just a few weeks ago were atrocious. But I've made the distinction before, there's certainly two different levels of racists you see regularly now. The ones that make the jokes, but overall won't do shit in real life, they're just bitter and shit. And then there's the very active racists that actively want to make life worse for people different than them.
