Sadam was terrible and should have been stopped, arguable way sooner. the weapons of mass destruction and making up reasons to do so, as well as the resulting scandals, not so great.

There was a lot sketch stuff surrounding that for sure, but it should be noted that nerve gas was found in Iraqi warehouses. Presumably what they used on the Kurds.
