I remember back in the 2016 election. I do remember seeing Smark on Facebook having a hard time picking between Trump and Hillary. I fully believe if the left put up away better candidate, he would’ve voted for them. Tbh that whole election felt like some people (not all of them) was picking the less of two evils in their mind.
I still had zero idea the day I walked up to the polls.

The 2016 Election is an all-time worse election next to the Elections of 1912, 1876, and 1824. Just a bunch of bad candidates overall.

Quick question, what the fuck do you expect people from Maryland, Massachusetts, and Minnesota to be able to do with regards to Texas elections? You have yet to sufficiently answer that in any meaningful way and your continued rhetoric has become inane rambling at this point dude. We only have the power to control what we can do in our respective states, and we must hope for the best that Texans will vote out these bigots and morons.

I’d assume the endgame is to correct your incorrect assertion like when you said Goldwater was from the 80s. Anyone with eyes can see the religious have a stronghold on politics, but doesn’t mean we have to ignore that Goldwater was not a good example.

I’m still not sure what you are proposing. Most of us here don’t live in Texas or anywhere else like it.

This is very much the same as in Canada, can people from Alberta really vote on matters of what Quebec or Newfoundland & Labrador do with their provincial elections or legislature?

Which even if you disagree with my proposal, at least I was offering a solution for Texan Democrats.

I honestly think it’s the closest bet they have.

If you want to start small, just get a candidate that isn’t talking about gun control. Beto lost the moment he pulled that stunt with Abbott about gun control.

I think Beto has an excellent chance of winning tbh. Especially with the platform that it looks like the Texas GOP is pulling out.

I have zero faith in that. Texas is the heart of gun nuts and I say that with love. Sort of. :slip:

All Beto gotta do is just chant "Remember the Alamo" and they'll be eating out of the palm of his hands. :hayden3

If he’s advocating gun bans, to the right it is. No conservative will vote for that.

guess not going by the narrative painted that he wants to take every gun away from anyone that has one, you'd think he's even banning paintball if you talked to an average Texan
