They’re gonna try for sure. I don’t think they should

I don’t actually disagree with scotus here. They’re not supposed to pass laws from the bench. Hopefully after this they just do the job they were intended to do.

My only issue is even if the original opinion was a reach, it’s been 50 years. Leave it alone, but I think the long-standing ramifications might be better off if we can make legitimate laws protecting abortion access that can’t be overturned later like this one that was on that verge.

My only personal opinion is if we can make abortion legal permanently, just let states decide on term limits.

I actually thought that 15-week one recently was super reasonable and what I’d personally make it, myself.

From what I gather never before an opinion is made public. Only afterwards to see what was said prior to the final draft and whatnot so someone definitely leaked this with the intention of swaying a vote before it’s finalized.

If they can change this opinion before it’s made final and public law, just change it to remove the viability clause.

Both sides imo win and lose on that. Keep abortion legal and safe, but give states more leeway on term limits.

Maybe just pass legislation that it has to be at least 10, possibly 12 weeks minimum. So women have time.

I believe in a women’s right to choose as long as the baby isn’t fully developed. Idk what the exact weeks are. I think that aborting a fully formed baby is kind of fucked up and honestly you could just give a baby up for adoption. So while I believe in abortion rights there is a huge gray area for me and I think there is a strong argument for pro-life.
