One thing I find shocking is that Iran was so unprepared. It's always a trope that there's warnings before attacks and that generates all the conspiracy theory, and almost always if you really look at the context, you can empathize with the people that didn't listen. But when America pulled their people from the region and Trump basically said he gave up telling Israel not to bomb them, how was that not obvious what was happening?

Pearl Harbor too is another one, but I don't really subscribe to either. I think what actually happened in both cases (very eerily similar) is they knew an attack was coming, but the actual attacks that happened seemed so far fetched that they didn't entertain them because they thought others were more likely.

In this case it just seems like negligence though, they didn't even have their top military people in any kind of protection, that's why Israel was able to strike their residences. They could have let the attacks happen without letting those specific people be victims

Pearl Harbor is a different situation as well because the Japanese government was late in delivering a letter to the US ambassador before the embassy closed, so the official declaration of war was completely missed.

People think it was a surprise attack, but the Japanese simply missed the deadline to declare war because the embassy closed.

I mean this is where my conspiracy starts lol I think that was a convenient excuse and they never intended to give America that heads up bc if they did then the entire attack would have been wasted and not very eventful

The Israeli military confirmed it attacked the studio of Iran’s state television channel, IRINN, on Monday.

The Israel Defense Forces said its air force “conducted a precise strike based on intelligence provided by the Intelligence Directorate, targeting a communication center that was being used for military purposes by the Iranian Armed Forces.”

“The building was used by the Iranian Armed Forces under the guise of civilian activity, covering up the military use of the center’s infrastructure and assets. The strike directly harmed the military capabilities of the Iranian Armed Forces,” the IDF added.

Confirmation of the strike comes after explosions interrupted a live broadcast by anchor Sahar Imami.

“Prior to the strike, the IDF provided an effective advanced warning to the civilian population, including phone calls, and conducted the strike in a precise manner in order to mitigate harm to civilians as far as feasible,” the IDF said.

Earlier Monday, the IDF issued an evacuation order in Tehran’s 3rd District, where the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting has offices. IRINN is part of IRIB. In a post in Farsi on X, the IDF said it would take action in the district in the coming hours to attack the Iranian regime’s military infrastructure.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz also confirmed the military struck the studio.

“The Iranian regime’s propaganda and incitement broadcasting authority was attacked by the IDF after a large-scale evacuation of the surrounding area. We will hit the Iranian dictator everywhere,” Katz said on X.
