But seriously, what a heartfelt moment to every wrestling fan, definitely should rate up there with Chris Benoit winning the title if not higher for me. The guy was jumping up and down, 13 fucking years, he probably coulda made it in 2006 but he then left to another company where he was the top star for 3 years and was able to come back and rerise out of midcard to now being the world heavyweight champion and top guy on SD. Fuck all of you who doubted CHRISTIAN MOTHERFUCKING CAGE. I said he'd win it in 2010 if everything went smooth, but then obviously he got injured. My prediction wasn't far off, but what matters is, I was right in saying he would be champion one day and the people who said "Christian will never amount to anything", "Christian will never win a world title, sorry", "Sorry, Christian is just one of those guys in the long list that will be a mid-carder for life" were all WRONG.

I was one of the people who was saying Del Rio was going to win. But, by no means am I a Christian hater, I am a huge Christian fan. I didn't watch the PPV, but I heard it was a great match and a great moment. However, I do whole heartedly believe that if Edge had not retired the closest Christian would get would be by carrying Edge's bags from the hotel to the arena. I mentioned this in the Extreme Rules video; I hope he takes this ball and runs with it to the best of his ability. I am curious to see who his next, or first challenger is since there aren't any main event heels, unless you want to throw Barrett or Sheamus in with him, but they're more mid-carders than main eventers. Cody Rhodes is also a possible challenger. Only time will tell if putting the strap on Christian was the best decision.

I'd be happier if he had a won the title that actually meant something on Raw, but still a pretty awesome development for one of the most deserving wrestlers in WWE of a big moment like this. A real cool sight to see him as WHC. Hope he keeps it at least until SummerSlam.
