You are also dead to me... :tsk:

You can't deny that Hardy ruined the championship image a bit with his last defense.

Considered my forum name here was "The Antichrist", I'd have to disagree.
If you were here long enough to know that... lol

Although if you mean Victory Road, I agree. But not for the sole fact that he won it or that Immortal had the belt.

Which belt? Oh yeah, Hardy's purple belt. It fit his character to perfection. That's what it was there for. Hardy's epic "Antichrist" gimmick (which I miss more than my dead rabbit, BTW).

Re: The Official Superstars Draft & Discussion Thread

Haven't been here long enough to remember The Antichrist name...

I do mean Victory Road...Hardy can be a very deserving champion based on his hard work over the years, but he pissed a lot of it away with his legal matters and it gave the belt, and company for that matter, a bad rep imo...Matt didn't help much by fucking up as well.

Re: The Official Superstars Draft & Discussion Thread

My next pick is Jimmy Rave because 1. He wrestlers locally now but was one of the coolest people in TNA and is a great addition to my roster. I really think he's going to add to my mid-card title feud .

I figured which is why I added the spoiler tag. I may go back to it.

I agree on Victory Road and his legal stuff. But everything from Bound For Glory 10/10/10 to Against All Odds '11 was perfection. Immortal and the Antichrist were the best things going in wrestling and I wouldn't trade those months for anything.

Matt's a whole story onto himself. I really believed in him but he fucked up time and again.

Re: The Official Superstars Draft & Discussion Thread

To be honest, it was TNA's fault as well. If the guy has problem then, fair enough. He shouldn't be main eventing shows if he has problems like he did though.

I can't admit to being an Immortal fan...at that point I was so tired of Hogan always having a hand in everything that I didn't care for Immortal at all. It was just a recycled idea of NWO, and nothing beats the original.

Immortal can't touch nWo. But to me it wasn't trying to be. Main Event Mafia was more nWo or even "The Band", the official unofficial nWo reunion. The one thing that made Immortal stand out to me was Jeff Hardy. Now it kinda floats without any true purpose but the "Antichrist" was pure gold. I don't know if you watched ReAction was TNA did that but Hardy's ReAction segments were priceless.

Back to the draft.... nice pick broski. Jimmy Rave is an underrated talent in my books.

Trade it for anythin else that could have been booked at the time instead of booking the Immortal run with Hardy.

You do remember who you're talking to (Scott Hall/Outsiders/nWo mark)?

I'd take nWo all day, every day over anything. And if I had my way, Scott Hall would get a run at top with the strap.
