Aren’t the Panthers still paying Matt Rhule too?

There was actually a lawsuit earlier this year where Rhule is trying to get his buyout money that the Panthers are refusing to pay him. Panthers claim his Nebraska contract negated the buyout deal because of how it was laid out.

Frank Reich fired after 1 Season is pretty stupid I feel. The Panthers have no where near the talent to compete for the Division I don't know how firing him makes their future better with a young QB. As for Duce I wanted him to stay on and get hired over Nick before the signing he needs to come home with Reich and be Advisors for my Eagles.

The talent comment is true (though a lot of this same "talent" almost won this shitty division last year so there was an expectation going into the season believe it or not that we could potentially compete... yes, this was a thing) - but as someone who is a glutton for punishment and has watched every single Panthers game this year - Frank Reich is not a good head coach - talent or not. His play calling has been awful since the pre-season and it has shown zero signs of improvement. Even in a terrible team you want to see some type of improvements somewhere... and in many cases it's gotten worse. He was supposed to be an offensive guru and his entire offense consists of screen plays and runs straight up the middle for 0-3 yards. Not firing him this season would just be prolonging the pain and the inevitable.

The real issue is what coach is going to want to come into this situation and deal with a micromanging/meddling owner? Every other job opening will be filled before the Panthers.
