The Cowboys played much better than I thought they would, although I do think that Dak doesn't seem right - and I don't think he ever will be again. Not that he didn't have a good game, but is he at his top tier of play? I don't think so.

Devastated to hear the news that Mick Tingelhoff passed away today. He is heavily considered one of the greatest offensive linemen of all time and it took him 37 years to finally get into the Hall of Fame. I remember Fran Tarkenton speaking for him in his Hall of Fame induction, and it was a very emotional moment.

Another fun fact, Mick Tingelhoff is tied with Phillip Rivers for the third most consecutive games started in the NFL, behind Vikings legend Jim Marshall and Hall of Famer Brett Favre. He is also tied for 10th for most games played. Mick Tingelhoff was essentially the ultimate center.

The '60s and '70s Vikings seem to dominate the list, as Mick Tingelhoff leads all Centers in consecutive starts, Jim Marshall leads all Defensive Ends, and The Honorable Alan Page leads all Defensive Tackles, and Randall McDaniel is 3rd behind Gene Upshaw and Will Shields for Guards.

I'm baffled myself that he's not in the HOF, despite his accomplishments and spending 19 seasons with the Vikings. He deserves a spot in the HOF.

It's criminally bad that is damn sure Grim. Mailata for my Birds for 4 more Years he could be a top tier Offensive Lineman for many years if he stays healthy. He's been learning the position coming from Rugby and he's taken high Draft Pick spot from Dillard which he's been a failure so far and I'm happy for Mailata. The speed of that guy makes us way better as a team this Season vs Last Season where we had injuries up and down the Offensive Line. Great Offensive Lineman don't grow on Trees and when you have Anchors like that man can your team do great things. Hurts needs to his Offensive Line to be healthy this Season if we plan to shock some folks and get one of those Wildcard spots in the NFC.
