Was fully expecting it to happen at the end of the season but the writing was on the wall when he got bumped down to QB4 and was practicing at safety for the scout team.

His failures aren’t all his fault but he should have never been drafted number 6 overall

I’m actually hoping he can turn it around and become a serviceable backup.

Yeah he was bad. But he was a 4th round talent that Dave Gettleman fell in love with and reached for and undeservedly got paid cause he had one decent year.

Yeah I thought The Giants letting of Daniel Jones would surely come in the Offseason to see if they can get something back for him. I imagine the Cap hit wasn't a bother for them to do it now vs later which sometimes in Contracts you can save a couple Million or two.
