It's going to happen when your Offense does nothing making your Defense play longer on the field than the other Team.

The Jets on paper were the better team last night because of Rodgers and Adams alone. Plus the Steelers were starting Russell Wilson, who everyone thought his time was over because of the Denver stint and people were questioning WHY he was made the starter in the first place. Then the team only goes and puts up 15 points. The offense never showed up in the 2nd half, either and his 2 INT didn't help. Also didn't help that the Jets were given 4 primetime games BECAUSE of Rodgers and so far they've been blown out in 2 of them.

Point is, there's honestly no guarantee Rodgers comes back next year, especially if the Jets don't finish with a winning record. Is he going to stick out however long Davante Adams has left on the Raiders contract? Who knows. Because as soon as Rodgers leaves and Adams is still on the team, Adams is gonna bitch and want out because his QB is gone again.

I think Adams has one more year after this year left on his contract. Which is when I think Rodgers retires.

So both will leave after the 2025 season and then the Jets begin a proper rebuild
